Boys Soccer Meeting – 3:30 in the Cafeteria

 

Girls Soccer Banquet – 6:30 in the Cafeteria – Please meet at 5:45 PM before the banquet and do not forget to bring soccer equipment – 2 bags, uniforms, warm-ups.

 

Boys Basketball – Any boy who does not have a summer schedule needs to stop by and pick one up from Coach Buerkett.  Open gym today at 2:15 PM for all boys interested.

 

ALL NHS members: See Ms. Faloon-Sullivan today to pick up a service hour form for the summer/next year.

General Announcements:

 

Report Card Day – June 2nd – If you do not owe any fees or fines, the guidance office will mail your report card home to you.  Simply bring a pre-addressed, stamped envelope to the guidance office before the end of final exams if you prefer to have your report card mailed home.  Athletes must turn in uniforms before report cards will be released.

 

WHS boys' track and field awards night has been moved to Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Fieldhouse Pizza in Springfield beginning at 6:30PM.

 

Any boy or girl interested in making $7.50 or more detasseling corn in the month of July can sign up in the office this week or next. When signing up simply write name and phone number and I will contact you later. If you have any questions please call Mr. Trine at 415-5907 for information.

 

Congratulations to Jordan Patterson on medaling at the IHSA State Track Meet at Charleston last weekend.  Jordan placed ninth in the 3200m run with a time of 9:52.21.

 

NHS or other students looking for volunteer hours: Help UCP with the LPGA tournament at Panther Creek on July 17-20.  Shifts are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Please see Ms. Faloon-Sullivan or call Sandy Moynahan for more details.
