The price for the hot lunch is $2.30 at Williamsville Junior High and is $2.45 at Williamsville High School.  This price includes a half-pint carton of white (fat-free or 1%) or fat-free chocolate milk.  Our Prairie Farms milk has been re-formulated this year.  Total sugar content has been decreased 19 percent and now contains sucrose (sugar) rather than high fructose corn syrup.

Additional daily choices available as part of the hot lunch (not listed on the monthly menu) are lettuce salad, sliced whole wheat bread, and assorted fresh fruit.  In an effort to encourage fruit and vegetable intake, students purchasing lunch in both the Junior High and High School may take extra fruit and vegetable without additional cost.  The printed nutrition facts and ingredients of menu items are available in each cafeteria.

A la carte items are available to purchase in addition to the lunch menu.  Students at the Junior High must either bring a lunch from home or purchase the hot lunch in order to purchase a la carte items.  To encourage students to eat healthy foods, a la carte items have been selected based on nutritional value and appropriate portion size in addition to student preferences.  Junior High a la carte items have been modified this school year.  ALL a la carte items at the Junior High contain needed nutrients for healthy growth, such as calcium, vitamin D, vitamin C, or whole grains.  The prices for a la carte items are posted in the cafeteria.
