bobtibbsWe sadly lost Bob Tibbs Thursday afternoon at 4:00PM from his long and courageous battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones at the time of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, from 4-7 PM at the Williamsville Jr. High School gymnasium. Services will be Monday, July 11, at 10:30 AM at the Williamsville Methodist Church with Rev. Piscatelli officiating. There will be a short visitation from 10:00-10:30 AM prior to the service.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville.

Memorials can be made to, “Williamsville Fire Department/EMS” or “National Brain Tumor Society.”

The FFA got 2nd place in the Prairieland FS Growing our Future Grant. We won $2,500. The CEO came and presented a check to the FFA.

The Illinois State Board of Education has mandated that all students must participate in taking the PARCC statewide standardized test.

According to the Illinois State Board of Education and as directed to all Illinois Public Schools by the Illinois State Superintendent, students are not allowed to opt out of the exam.
