Williamsville Garden Club - Weeding

The Williamsville Garden Club is looking for volunteers to assist with weeding the community flowerbeds and displays.  Volunteers will be needed on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m. through the end of September.  If it is raining, the weeding will take place on Thursday night that week from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  Volunteers will meet outside the old train car where the old library and museum used to be.

Cheer Try-Outs:

Try-outs for the 2020-2021 WHS Bullet Cheerleading squad will be held on September 23rd, 24th and 25th.

Current restrictions prevent cheerleaders from direct contact including stunting.  As such, this year’s squad will not be competitive and therefore we will only have a single tryout.  Those selected at this tryout will make up the basketball AND football sideline squad for the entire ‘20-21 season.

A try-out clinic will be held on Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday the 24th to prepare for try-outs. The formal try-out will be Friday the 25th.  Clinic participation is mandatory for all students interested in trying out.

Before trying out, students must have a current physical on file with the school and will need to complete an insurance form, concussion form and COVID 19 participation form.  Informational packets which contain aforementioned forms as well as pertinent tryout information including tryout times and location can be picked up in the office.
