Penny Drive Week!  Donations will help families in need with our contributions to Contact Ministries!  Donations will be collected every day this week in 3rd Hour.

 

Schedule Changes:  If you need to make a 2nd Semester Schedule Change, a sign up sheet will be placed outside the Library doors on December 12th and redb20191204 available through December 17th.  Someone from the Guidance Office will be in contact with you as schedules allow.  

 

Wednesday, December 4: 

 

Lunch:  Taco quesadillas OR Toasted cheese sandwich, homemade chili, oyster crackers, celery sticks with SunButter, diced peaches, grape juice cup, choice of milk

FCCLA will be selling candy cane candy grams during both lunch shifts for $1 December 2nd through the 7th.  Make sure to stop by the tables and purchase that special someone, friend, or teacher a sweet holiday treat.  All candy grams will be delivered 8th hour Friday December 13th.

Girls Soccer:  There will be a meeting Thursday after school in the cafeteria to discuss winter training and the upcoming season.

WHS Madrigal Dinner and Tea - Dec. 14th (1PM - Tea / 6PM - Dinner) Tickets available online through 12/8/19. There will be extremely limited availability at the door.  The Williamsville High School Vocal Music Department cordially invites you to an afternoon or evening of song, food, and medieval humor!  Come experience one of WHS’s finest traditions! One-hundred additional tickets have been made available for both the tea and dinner in the "Outer Court" section.

7th Annual Madrigal "Beggar's Feast" - Dec. 11th @ 6:30PM 

Come join us for the full Madrigal experience: all of the Medieval music, Renaissance drama, and all the 21st-century water and bread crumbs you can consume.  The WHS Madrigal Ensemble presents the 7th annual “Beggar’s Night” Performance on Wednesday December 11th, 2019 – 6:30PM at the WJHS Fine Arts Center.

WILLIAMSVILLE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION – QUARTER AUCTIONS

The Williamsville Community Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with their Quarter Auctions to benefit different charities.  They need help on the second Thursday of every month from 5:15-8:15 p.m. to work concessions during the auctions and on the Wednesday before the auctions from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to set up chairs and tables.  The Quarter Auctions will take place at the Williamsville Community Center. 

 

WILLIAMSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL — CLEAN-UP FOR BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAMES

The custodians at Williamsville High School are looking for assistance cleaning out the bleachers after the home boys’ basketball games on Tuesday, December 17; Friday, December 20; Monday, December 23; Friday, January 10; Friday, January 24; Friday, January 31; Tuesday, February 4; Friday, February 7; and Tuesday, February 18.  They are looking for a couple of volunteers after each game, and while you will probably be needed for less than an hour, you will earn an hour of community service.

 

WILLIAMSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL — WINTER CHOIR CONCERT

The Vocal Music Boosters need volunteers at the Winter Choir Concert on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.  Volunteers will need to work from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and will be plating the cheesecake during the choir concert and serving it immediately after the concert.

 

ANIMAL PROTECTIVE LEAGUE

APL is always looking for volunteers. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteer opportunities include: dog walking, cleaning, dog & cat socialization, office work, adoption events and much more!   Sign up by emailing volunteer@apl-shelter.org or by calling Mary at 544-7387 x227.
