General Announcements:


LLCC Foundation scholarship application is now open through March 1stOnly one general, online application needs to be completed to be automatically considered for scholarships for the entire academic year. Information and the online application are available at www.llccfoundation.org/scholarships.


Attention Seniors: Shelter Insurance Foundation Scholarship Program applications are available on the Guidance Office webpage or available for pick-up in the Guidance Office. This $2,000 scholarship is open to any Williamsville High School senior who plans to enroll in a college/university by September 2019. Don't miss this awesome opportunity--apply today! Applications should be returned the Guidance Office by March 1. 


SAT Prep Classes: SAT Prep Classes will be held at Williamsville High School February 20, 23, & 27 and March 9. Classes are open to all students. Interested students should pick up a registration form in the Guidance Office. The cost is $50. Deadline to register is February 1. 


Adam Mitchell Clack Memorial Fund Award applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is March 1. 


Seniors: Please make sure to check the guidance scholarship page--there are a lot of scholarships being added with March 1 deadlines. Apply today!!

2019 SAT Prep Classes:  SAT prep classes will be held on Wednesday, February 20 from 5-8pm, Saturday, February 23 from 9am-noon, Wednesday, February 27 from 5-8pm, and Saturday, March 9 from 9am-noon.  Pre-registration is required along with a $50 registration fee (checks should be made payable to WHS).  All juniors will receive registration materials in class and can return them to the Guidance Department along with payment.  Additional registration forms are available in the Guidance Department and on our website available for download.  Signing up for the SAT prep classes is optional.  SAT prep classes are open to ALL students.  Deadline for sign up is February 1.  The SAT will be given to all juniors at the high school on April 9, 2019.  


Job opening at Isringhausen Imports: *Part Time Receptionist Position available…..hours are 4-7 Mon-Thurs./4-6 Fridays/8-5 Saturdays.  Must be professional in dress and mature in attitude. Contact number is 217-528-2277. 


Students will be allowed to use their phones during lunch only in the cafeteria, hallway, and gym beginning Monday, January 14.  Please keep in mind that if the drama increases we may have to go back to using phones in the gym only.  You have earned this privilege so please don’t abuse it.  If you listen to music, please keep the volume at a minimum in the cafeteria and hallway.   Again, this is for lunch shifts only.


The Sheet Metal Workers' Local #218 are looking for applicants with a desire to work in the field of sheet metal/heating/air conditioning/architectural metals. The Williamsville Community Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with their Quarter Auctions to benefit different charities.  They need help on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to work concessions during the auctions and on the Wednesday before the auctions from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to set up chairs and tables.  The Quarter Auctions will take place at the Williamsville Community Center.



The custodians at Williamsville High School are looking for assistance cleaning out the bleachers after the home boys’ basketball games on Tuesday, January 22; Saturday, February 2; Friday, February 8; and Friday, February 15.  They are looking for a couple of volunteers per game, and while you will probably be needed for less than an hour, you will earn an hour of community service.



The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield is looking for volunteers to assist as a History Detective.  Volunteers will be needed to facilitate a children’s scavenger hunt in the museum during Winter Break in December and Summer Break in June and July.  Volunteers will need to work a four-hour shift, either from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on any day of their choice during those timeframes.
