Bag[1] Penny Drive Week!

Pleasant Plains and Williamsville are competitors on the court and the field, but this week they will be partners in the Taylorville tornado relief effort. The gate profit from the high school girls’ basketball game taking place at Pleasant Plains on Thursday, December 6 and the high school boys’ basketball game taking place at Williamsville on Friday, December 7 will be donated to Missions for Taylorville. In addition to these donations from both schools, there will be collection boxes at all home events in both school districts throughout this week where people can donate additional money that will be combined with the gate profit from each game. Both school districts have strong relationships with the Taylorville School District through athletics and want to help the community in their road to recovery. Additional questions regarding these efforts can be directed to Pleasant Plains Athletic Director, Heather Greer, or Williamsville Athletic Director, Adam Eucker.
