WHS Daily Bulletin

February 5th-9th is National School Counselor Appreciation Week. Today's school counselors provide much more than academic advising, they are vital members of the educational team. School counselors help all students become college and career ready, support social/emotional development, and ensure student growth both inside and outside of the classroom. There's no one quite like your professional school counselor! To find out more about the school counselor's role and school counseling programs visit the American School Counseling Associations site: www.schoolcounselor.org -here you can find research examining the impact of school counselors on K-12 student outcomes. Nationally peer-reviewed journals and data-based articles prove that school counseling services are vital to student success!
