Softball Meeting - There will be a preseason meeting after school on Jan 11 in Coach Shade’s classroom for all girls interested in playing high school softball this spring. We will be done by 4:00pm.

Grab your friends and bring your quarters! The Williamsville Community Foundation will be hosting this month's QUARTER AUCTION on January 11 at Williamsville Community Center at 141 W Main St! Our charity for the month of January will be the Williamsville After Prom. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. Auction starts at 6:30. We will have a great group of vendors with awesome auction prizes! Lots of fun while helping this group provide a safe night after prom! The Foundation will be serving hot dogs, nachos with cheese, popcorn, soda and water.

King Pin Lanes from 9-11pm.
$15 includes shoe rental and unlimited bowling! Food and drinks will be
available for purchase from Cooper’s Alleyside!

Track Polar Runs/Conditioning will start on Monday
Jan.8th from 3:30-4:30. Meet in the cafeteria. They will be held on
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until practices begin.

Attention Seniors: 30 scholarship
opportunities are available through the Community Foundation for the Land of
Lincoln and the application process is NOW OPEN and will redb20180108 open until March 1st. Scholarship criteria
and applications are available via the website www.cfll.org or by visiting the guidance
department website.
Scottish Rite Scholarship applications are available. The link to the
application can be found on the guidance webpage or by visiting https://www.aasr-spi.org/
Applications may be printed, filled out, and returned the address on the
application. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2018.

Sign up the WHS SAT Prep Classes: Complete a form and return it to the Guidance office with the $50 registration fee by February 9. Please make checks payable to Williamsville High School. Classes will be:
February, 23rd, Friday 1pm-4pm: Practice SAT
March 8th, Thursday 5pm-8pm: Math
March 10th, Saturday 9am-12pm: Math
March 28th, Wednesday 5pm-8pm: English

Lincoln Land Down
Syndrome Society – Child Care at
Membership Meetings -
Volunteers are being sought by the Lincoln
Land Down Syndrome Society to assist with child care during membership
meetings. Upcoming meeting dates are Thursday, January 11, 2018; and
Thursday, March 8, 2018. Meetings are held at Erin’s Pavilion at Edwin Watts
Southwind Park. Volunteers would need to arrive
by 5:45 p.m. and stay until approximately 7:30 p.m. Four volunteers are
needed for each meeting.
Williamsville Community Foundation —
Quarter Auctions – For anyone
needing community service hours, the Williamsville Community Foundation is
looking for volunteers to assist with their Quarter Auctions to benefit
different charities. They need help on the second Wednesday of every
month from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to set up chairs at the Williamsville Community Center,
and then they will need help on the second Thursday of every month from
5:30-8:30 p.m. to work concessions during the auctions.
Williamsville High School — Boys’ Basketball Clean-Up - For anyone needing
community service hours, the custodians at Williamsville High School are
looking for assistance cleaning out the bleachers after the home boys’
basketball games. They are looking for a couple of volunteers per game,
and while you will probably be needed for less than an hour, you will earn an
hour of community service. Please see Mr. Martens if you are interested
or have any other questions.
After-Prom Committee — Cookie Sales at Boys’ Basketball - For anyone needing
community service hours, the After-Prom Committee is looking for assistance
with their cookie sales during the home boys’ basketball games. They are
looking for a couple of volunteers per game, and will be needed from 5:45-7:15
p.m. and 7:15-8:45 p.m. Please see Mr. Martens if you are interested or
have any other questions.
Williamsville Public Library and Museum – STEAM Community Dialogue - For anyone
needing community service hours, the Williamsville Public Library and Museum is
looking a few students to join their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Arts, and Math) Dialogue session with Mr. Reedy, Mr. Ibbotson, and others at
the Williamsville Public Library and Museum on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from
