The Lincoln Land Community College Foundation is currently
accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-2019 academic year. Students considering or planning to
attend LLCC beginning in fall 2018 are encouraged to apply. The deadline to
apply is Mar. 1, 2018.

SAT Math & SAT English Prep: Get a jump start of SAT prep-Playaway pre loaded tablets are available for check out from the Sherman Public Library. Info available on the guidance webpage.
Sangamon CEO student application is now available at www.sangamonceo.com. This program is a full year
class open to 2019 SENIOR HS students. Current juniors should apply now.

The 10th Annual Springfield Good as Gold Awards Ceremony will be held on
April 23, 2018 at UIS. The program is looking for our nominations to a
deserving volunteer for recognition at the ceremony.

Lincoln Land Down
Syndrome Society – Child Care at
Membership Meetings -
Volunteers are being sought by the Lincoln
Land Down Syndrome Society to assist with child care during membership
meetings. Upcoming meeting dates are Thursday, January 11, 2018; and
Thursday, March 8, 2018. Meetings are held at Erin’s Pavilion at Edwin
Watts Southwind Park. Volunteers would need to
arrive by 5:45 p.m. and stay until approximately 7:30 p.m. Four
volunteers are needed for each meeting.
Williamsville Community Foundation —
Quarter Auctions – For anyone
needing community service hours, the Williamsville Community Foundation is
looking for volunteers to assist with their Quarter Auctions to benefit
different charities. They need help on the second Wednesday of every month
from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to set up chairs at the Williamsville Community Center, and
then they will need help on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30-8:30
p.m. to work concessions during the auctions.
Williamsville High School — Boys’ Basketball Clean-Up - For anyone needing
community service hours, the custodians at Williamsville High School are
looking for assistance cleaning out the bleachers after the home boys’
basketball games. They are looking for a couple of volunteers per game,
and while you will probably be needed for less than an hour, you will earn an
hour of community service. Please see Mr. Martens if you are interested
or have any other questions.
After-Prom Committee — Cookie Sales at Boys’ Basketball - For anyone needing
community service hours, the After-Prom Committee is looking for assistance
with their cookie sales during the home boys’ basketball games. They are
looking for a couple of volunteers per game, and will be needed from 5:45-7:15
p.m. and 7:15-8:45 p.m. Please see Mr. Martens if you are interested or
have any other questions.
Williamsville Public Library and Museum – STEAM Community Dialogue - For anyone
needing community service hours, the Williamsville Public Library and Museum is
looking a few students to join their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Arts, and Math) Dialogue session with Mr. Reedy, Mr. Ibbotson, and others at
the Williamsville Public Library and Museum on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 3:30-5:30
p.m. If anyone is interested, please see Mr. Martens.

Early Bird Exam |
Exams will start promptly at 9:07 all
three days. Students only need to be
present for their semester exams and lunch.

If you leave between exams you MUST
sign out in the office before leaving.
You should arrive promptly to class for your next exam.
·
You will not be granted extra time
if you arrive late.
·
Students that do not drive should arrange
rides with parents, grandparents, etc. if they want to leave between
exams.
·
If you do not have a ride you should
report to your next exam or resource even if opting out of the exam.
**Students are
not allowed to leave for lunch only…it is not an open campus in regard to lunch.**
At no time during the day are students
allowed to go to the junior high or the parking lot. The only exception is is
a student if picking up a sibling.
·
If you leave after an exam you must
leave campus.
·
You will not be allowed to stay in
the hallways, library, etc.
All students: You must stay in class until your last exam
is over; you cannot leave in the middle of an exam period on Days 1 and 2.
·
On day 3 you may exit the building
quietly as soon as you finish your last exam.
·
If you do not have a ride or you
ride the bus you must stay in class until the bell rings.
A study period may be utilized on Days
1, 2, and 3. You may visit the teacher
of your choice during the study period.
Students that do not have a ride or
need to ride the bus should report to the gym at 2:15 on Days 1 and 2.

You will not be allowed to stay in
the hallways, library, etc.
