2nd Semester Schedule Changes:  If you need to make a schedule change for 2nd semester, please sign up in the Guidance office to schedule a future appointment.  The Guidance team will meet with students December 4th-15th. (Appointments will be made on a first come, first served basis.)

6:00pm - Boys JV & Varsity Basketball vs North-Mac

 

Band Boosters will be selling LaGondola subs at the boys basketball game Friday night

 

The Penny Drive will take place next week, December 4-8, during 6th hour.  The class with the highest per student average will receive a pizza party! All proceeds go to Contact Ministries and local families.

2:00pm - Williamsville Bands Winter Concert:  Please join us as the Williamsville band program presents their annual winter concert on Sunday, December 3, at 2:00pm in the high school gym.  The 6th grade band, 7th/8th grade band, high school jazz band and high school concert band will all be performing.  The concert is free and open to the public.

Looking for extra cash?  A Williamsville resident is seeking to hire a student(s) that would be willing to do some light yard work: raking leaves, picking up sticks, and other odd jobs around her home.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. Bryant for contact information. 

 

Semester Exams:  There will be a two-day schedule for semester exams on December 19 and 20, 2017.  Please avoid going out of town or scheduling appointments on these days.

 

Tickets Released for WHS Madrigal Dinner and Tea - Dec. 9th (1PM - Tea / 6PM - Dinner)  The Williamsville High School Vocal Music Department cordially invites you to an an afternoon or evening of song, food, and medieval humor.  Come experience one of WHS’s finest traditions!  5th Annual Madrigal "Beggar's Feast" - Dec. 6th @ 6:30PM  Come join us for the full Madrigal experience: all of the Medieval music, Renaissance drama, and all the 21st-century water and bread crumbs you can consume.  The WHS Madrigal Ensemble presents the 4th annual  “Beggar’s Night” Performance on Wednesday December 6, 2017 – 6:30PM at the WJHS Fine Arts Center. Tickets on sale now: whs.booktix.com ($7-Adults / $5-Students & Children).  Castle doors open at 6:00PM.  Performance Length – 90-minutes

Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society – Child Care at Membership Meetings -

Volunteers are being sought by the Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society to assist with child care during membership meetings.  Upcoming meeting dates are Thursday, January 11, 2018; and Thursday, March 8, 2018.  Meetings are held at Erin’s Pavilion at Edwin Watts Southwind Park.  Volunteers would need to arrive by 5:45 p.m. and stay until approximately 7:30 p.m.  Four volunteers are needed for each meeting.

 

183rd Fighter Wing – Easter/Spring Event - For anyone needing community service hours, the Airman and Family Readiness Program of the 183rd Fighter Wing in Springfield is looking for volunteers to assist with their Easter/Spring Event that they are co-hosting at Camp Lincoln.  Volunteers will be needed on Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. helping with the children’s activities.  The event will take place at Camp Lincoln, Bldg. 10 located at 1301 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Springfield. 

 

Williamsville Community Foundation — Quarter Auctions – For anyone needing community service hours, the Williamsville Community Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with their Quarter Auctions to benefit different charities.  They need help on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to set up chairs at the Williamsville Community Center, and then they will need help on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to work concessions during the auctions. 

  

183rd Fighter Wing – Children’s Christmas Party – the Airman and Family Readiness Program of the 183rd Fighter Wing in Springfield is looking for volunteers to assist with their Annual Children’s Christmas Party.  Volunteers will be needed on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. helping with the children’s craft tables.  The location for the event has not yet been determined.
