WHS Daily Bulletin


Prom tickets will be on sale at lunch Monday - Thursday.  Cost is $25 per person.  Seniors receive a free ticket, but they must sign up for it.  ALL CLASS DUES MUST BE UP TO DATE!  No prom tickets will be sold at the door.


Thursday, May 11:


Lunch:  Italian meatball sandwich or Cheese stuffed breadsticks, marinara sauce, celery sticks with SunButter, diced pears, chocolate Chex mix, ½ pint of milk


4:00pm - Track & Field @ IHSA 1A Girls Track Sectional @ Shelbyville – bus leaves at 1:30pm, please dismiss 1:20pm.


Student Council will conduct a pre-prom activity  All juniors and seniors will be dismissed at 2:45 and will report to the gym.


7:00pm - WHS Honors Night – WHS Gym – Local scholarships awarded & Student of the Year will be announced!


Friday, May 12:


Lunch:  Cheese calzone or Toasted cheese sandwich, homemade chili, mini saltine crackers, baby carrots, fresh fruit, ½ pint of milk


Drivers Ed Field Trip – 2nd – 4th Hours


4:30pm - Varsity & JV Softball vs Chatham-Glenwood


7:00pm - Varsity Baseball @ Teutopolis High School – Bus leaves 1:50pm, please dismiss 1:40pm


Saturday, May 13:


Boy Scout Car Wash - The Sherman & Williamsville area Boy Scout Troop 330 will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, May 13th from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Illini Bank Community Center parking lot. 


9:00am - Varsity Baseball @ Teutopolis High School


Promenade will be held at Williamsville High School on Saturday, May 13 at 4:30.  Doors will open at 3:30.  Coronation will take place at the conclusion of promenade.


8:00pm – 11:00pm - WHS Prom – Illinois Building – State Fairgrounds

Seniors – Graduation orders that haven’t been picked up are available in the office.  Checks cannot be accepted for payment at this time.  We can only accept cash or money orders.  If you prefer to pay with credit or debit cards, please call Jostens at 217-483-8989.


Job Opportunity – If you are interesting in working with Ted Hodgson on his produce farm this summer, please sign up in the office.

Seniors – Graduation practice will be held at WHS on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 9:00AM in the WHS Gym.  This is mandatory for all seniors going through the ceremony.  Come Hungry … Breakfast will be provided by the Senior Parents immediately following the practice.

Teachers will be in their rooms at 8:18 each day of exams if students have questions or would like to study.  Students do not need to arrive until between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.  If students who ride the bus cannot arrange their own transportation, they will arrive at their regular time and report to their first exam classroom at 8:18.  Once a student arrives they must stay all day on days 1 and 2. 


All students may leave at 2:15 p.m., but not before, on days 1 and 2 of the exams.  If transportation is a problem, students can report to the gym to be supervised by Mr. Furlow on day one and two of exams.  On day three of exams, students may leave if they have 4th hour Resource or once they have completed their last exam, and the buses will run at 11:30 a.m. on this day. 


Students:  Please note that you must leave school grounds if you leave early on Day 3 of exams.  You cannot stay in the building.  You are not allowed to go to the junior high.
