The WHS After-Prom Committee is hosting a bowling night at King Pin on Sunday, February 19 from 9 – 11 pm. The cost is $15, and this covers your shoe rental and bowling. Come out and support the WHS After-Prom.

The FCCLA/FFA Winter Formal will be held Saturday February 25th from 8 -11. Tickets will be on sale Tuesday February 21 through Thursday February 23rd during lunch, and Friday February 24th from Mrs. Matulevich for $5.00 each. Tickets will be available at the door, but will be $10 each at that time. Make sure to get a form in advance from the office if you will be taking a date from another school. See you all there!!!

· · Teach student-athletes about the commitment it takes to play in college
· · Help families create a “Recruiting Plan”
· · Show parents and student-athletes how to find the right schools

Scholarship: Applications are available in the guidance office-preference is given
to students seeking a technical or scientific education for students in the top
10 percent of the class. The scholarship is renewable to awarded students up to
four years. Applications must be postmarked by April 15th.
Young Women in Public Affairs Award-The program is open to young women ages 16-19 who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism, experience in student or local government, workplace leadership, volunteer leadership achievements, and other activities which show a commitment to the empowerment of women. The award is $500 to one deserving young woman. An official fillable application is available online at www.zonta.org. Deadline is February 28, 2017.
The 2017 Williamsville North County Teen Court meeting dates are: Monday, March 13th, Monday, April 10th, Monday, May 8th and Monday, June 12th. All begin promptly at 6 p.m. These dates can also be found on the website at www.northcountyteencourt.com. Jurors are reminded that IF they cannot attend a meeting they MUST notify the Peer Jury Coordinator or other designee as far in advance of the absence as possible.
