Congratulations to Eli Reevis for winning the Sectional Tournament Monday by shooting a 74. Eli will be advancing to the state tournament this Friday and Saturday at Bloomington. The boys team carded a 346 which earned them 6th place out of 12 teams. Great Job Eli and the Bullets!

Parent/Teacher Conferences – Online Math Content Volunteers - For anyone needing community service hours, the elementary school, middle school, and junior high school are each looking for volunteers for during Parent/Teacher Conferences to work in their computer labs to help parents gain access to their children’s online math content. Two volunteers are being sought for each of the shifts, which include: Wednesday, November 9 – 12:30-3:30 p.m.; Wednesday, November 9 – 3:30-6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, November 9 – 6:30-8:00 p.m.; and Thursday, November 10 – 8:30-10:00 a.m. There will also be a short training you will need to attend at the Williamsville Junior High School prior to the conferences. Sherman Holiday Wonderland: Volunteers are being sought to assist with the Sherman Holiday Wonderland, which will be hosted at the Sherman Athletic Club on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Proceeds from the Sherman Holiday Wonderland are put toward the Sharon Miller Scholarship. Volunteers will be needed on Sunday, November 20, 2016, helping vendors unload from 7:00-9:00 a.m. and working the Welcome Table from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., and additional volunteers are needed to help set up for the event. Set up will be either Saturday evening or early Sunday morning, but that time has not yet been confirmed.
Williamsville Community Foundation — Quarter Auctions: For anyone needing community service hours, the Williamsville Community Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with their Quarter Auctions to benefit different charities. They need help on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to set up chairs at the Williamsville Community Center, and then they will need help on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to work concessions during the auctions. Capitol Radio Group — Zoolie Ghoulie at Henson Robinson Zoo: For anyone needing community service hours, the Capitol Radio Group is sponsoring Zoolie Ghoulie at Henson Robinson Zoo from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016, and 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23, 2016. Volunteers will be passing out candy in the safe trick-or-treating event inside the zoo gates or working in the carnival area. Volunteers are also encouraged—but not required—to dress in costumes if they can. If anyone is interested, please see Mr. Martens.
183rd Fighter Wing – Children’s Christmas Party - For anyone needing community service hours, the Airman and Family Readiness Program of the 183rd Fighter Wing in Springfield are looking for volunteers to assist with their Annual Children’s Christmas Party. Volunteers will be needed on Sunday, December 11, 2016, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. helping with the children’s craft tables. The event will take place at base of the 183rd Fighter Wing at 3101 J. David Jones Parkway in Springfield.
