Girls Track - State Track Meet  Congratulations to the 4 X 800 M Relay of Rottinghaus, Rhodes, McCain and Galusha for advancing to State Finals on Saturday.  Abbey Galusha is also advancing to finals in the 800 meter run.  Good luck!

Summer Employment:  Coach Hodgson is looking for workers for his produce farm this summer.  Sign up in the office if you are interested.

 

Student Council Applications are in a folder outside Mrs. Walsh’s room.

 

Boys Golf:  Any boy who missed the golf sign up meeting may still sign up by calling or texting Coach Trine at 415-5907. Information sheets are in the office.

 

Class Dues:  Your class dues must be paid in full for every year you have been in high school.  These funds are used to pay for prom during Junior year and the class trip your senior year.  Class dues are collected instead of holding annual fundraisers by class sponsors and is independent of school registration.

Girls Golf meeting on Thursday, May 28, 2015 @ 3:30 in Coach Croy’s classroom #100A.  It is just a quick informational meeting for anyone wanting to try out for golf!

WHS volleyball mandatory parent/athlete meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 5:45pm in the gym.  If the gym is occupied we will have it in the cafeteria.  I realize that baseball and softball are still playing, so if there happens to be a rain out and they have to play on Wednesday, June 3rd we will move the Parent Meeting to Thursday, June 11th at 5:45pm still in the gym.  Coach Carlson

Congrats to the boys track and field team on their efforts last night at the IHSA Tremont Sectional.  We placed fourth in the team standings.  Qualifying for next Thursday's State Meet in Charleston are:  Jace Franklin (long jump), and the 4x100m relay team of John Karras, Eric Price, Franklin, Connor Icenogle.

Teachers will be in their rooms at 8:18 each day of exams if students have questions or would like to study.  Students do not need to arrive until between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.  If students who ride the bus cannot arrange their own transportation, they will arrive at their regular time and report to their first exam classroom at 8:18.

 

All students may leave at 2:15 p.m., but not before, on days one and two of the exams.  If transportation is a problem, students can report to the gym to be supervised by Mr. Furlow on day one and two of exams.  On day three of exams, students may leave if they have 4th hour Resource or once they have completed their last exam, and the buses will run at 11:30 a.m. on this day. 

 

Students:  Please note that you must leave school grounds if you leave early on Day 3 of exams.  You cannot stay in the building.  You are not allowed to go to the junior high.
