S.A.V.E. Club is promoting Random Acts of Kindness this week and beyond. All this week, teachers are on the look out for students committing random acts of kindness. When "caught" the student will get a sweet treat. So, get busy being kind!!
Prom VIP Passes (Tickets) will be sold this Thursday, April 30- Thursday, May7. The cost is $20 per person. All class dues must be paid in order to receive a prom ticket. Seniors will receive a free prom ticket, but they must sign up for their VIP Pass at the table by the cafeteria. If their date is not a senior at WHS, the cost is $20. The last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, May 7. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR!!
The Guidance Office would like to invite all WHS students to dress in a college T-Shirt on National College Decision Day, which is this Friday May 1st! Help support our senior students as they make their final college choices! Make sure you stop by the tables outside the lunch room to show off your college apparel and get your name entered for a prize drawing!
Kindness contest: Any student that volunteers or provides assistance to others for a total of 5 hours between April 28 and May 11 will be entered into a drawing for one of five $20.00 gift cards. Students can pick up a form in the office for official rules and log for their time.
Summer Employment: Coach Hodgson is looking for workers for his produce farm this summer. Sign up in the office if you are interested.
The University of Spa & Cosmetology is inviting all interested students to attend their open house on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5-7pm. They are located at 2913 W White Oaks Drive, Springfield. Campus tours, financial aid guidance, and program information will be available.
May 2015 Sports Booster meeting has been changed from Wednesday May 6th to Sunday May 3rd. The meeting will still be held at the Sherman Village Hall and the time will be 5:00 pm. Hope to see many of you there! We will be discussing the upcoming golf outing in July as well as several other topics. We welcome any volunteers!!
