S.A.V.E. Club meeting Friday morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Lorton's room. Please bring your flowers.


Informational cheerleading meeting at 3:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. Any incoming freshman or current high school girl or boy is encouraged to attend to have any questions answered about the upcoming season and tryouts. There are several changes this year and anyone interested in cheerleading for football or basketball should attend the meeting; if you are unable to attend please feel free to contact Coach Schneider at aindreanoel1288@yahoo.com.

General Announcements:


The WJHS Beta Club has established a $250 scholarship fund for previous members. Applications include writing an essay on the impact participation in the WJHS Beta Club has had on your life and detailing your involvement in the club. See the guidance webpage for more details. Due April 24th


Vocal Music Booster Scholarship The VMB will be offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior. Deadline to apply is April 21. Applications are available in the guidance office. 


Seniors: Graduation Orders with a monetary balance can be paid with cash or money order. Checks are not accepted. If you prefer to pay with credit or debit, call Jostens at 217-483-8989. Leftover orders can be picked up in the office.


Congratulations to the WHS Band and Chorus Groups: All Williamsville ensembles, including both bands and all three choirs, received the highest (I-Superior) ratings from all judges. We were the only school at the Rochester event to receive those honors. The Williamsville music department finished in 7th place statewide in the IHSA sweepstakes rankings. Senior Class Trip - The Senior Class Trip for the Class of 2015 will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, to Chicago, IL.  The trip will include a stop at Six Flags Great America, dinner at Marcello's Restaurant, and a show at Second City.  Any senior wanting to go needs to return the form at the bottom of page 2 of the senior class trip packet that was received in American Government.  The form needs to be returned along with the $50 non-refundable deposit to Mr. Martens NO LATER THAN Friday, April 24, 2015.


Any  boy interested in playing golf next year: Please attend a sign up meeting next Wednesday April 29th in the high school cafeteria at 8:00am to 8:20am. If you cannot make it, call me at 415-5907. Coach Trine


Congratulations to Tea' Landsverk, she received a laptop computer for winning first place in the statewide  Alcohol Awareness Poster Contest sponsored by Illinois Churches in Action!


The Sangamon County Fair Queen Scholarship Pageant will take place on Wednesday June 17th. The winner will receive a $1,500 scholarship and go on to compete in the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant in January.
