Looking for scholarships?  Join the Guidance Department and ISAC representative, Samia Ahmad, on April 1 for another Scholarship Help Day! We will be available all day in the library to assist students in finding scholarships. Any grade level is welcome. Stop by the guidance office to reserve your spot today!  

 

2015 Aspiring Nurse Scholarship ($1,000)- For high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, visit www.nursingschoolsalmanac.com and click on the banner on the right hand side of the website's homepage.  Find detailed information and the official application form.  Deadline to apply is June 30th.

 

The Downtown YMCA is having the 2nd annual Color Dash 5K on April 25 at 10:30am and are in need of volunteers. This would be a great and fun option for service hours. Interested students should inquire with Mrs. Chladny or Mr. Martens. If enough students/staff are interested in helping, one color station could be designated to WHS! 

 

Registration is open for Architecture Camp at SIUC for both middle and high school students. Camps fill up quickly, so advanced registration is highly recommended. Brochures are available in the high school guidance office or contact Director Jon Davey at jdavey@siu.edu

 

Applications are available in guidance for Memorial Medical Center's Memorial Student Volunteer Program. This program provides volunteer opportunities to qualified high school juniors through college age students interested in health care careers. Deadline to apply is April 30th

4th Annual Jazz Dinner: Dinner and delightful live music await attendees of the 4th annual Williamsville Jazz Dinner, to be held at the Williamsville Junior High gym.

 

The festivities feature live performances by the award-winning Williamsville High School and Jr. High School Jazz Bands, as well as performances by other surprise musical guests, TBA.  A full meal from Hickory River Smokehouse is part of the package (vegan or vegetarian meals available upon request).  Doors open at 5:00 pm.  Tickets are $20 each (plus a $2.09 processing fee) and can be purchased through the link below:
