High School Cheerleading Informational Meeting :  There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 3:30 pm in the WHS Cafeteria for any girls that are interested in trying out for the 2014-2015 Bullet Cheerleading Team.

 

National College Decision Day Reveal: Seniors students are encouraged to wear a college t-shirt from the educational institution they plan to attend next year, on Thursday May 1st.

 

Annual Scholastic Bowl Faculty Grudge Match is Thursday, May 1, 6 p.m. in the library. J/V and Varsity, please let Mrs. Letterly know if you will be there by dropping by the library -- there will be a sheet there to sign your name, and let your parents know they are welcome to participate.

AP Exam money is due by Friday, May 2nd. Please bring $89 (per test) to the Guidance Office if you plan to take an exam(s) or $15 (per exam) if you have changed your mind and do not plan to test. Please see Mrs. Chladny if you have any questions.

Student Council applications for next year are in the office.  Deadline to turn in is Monday, May 12.

 

Prom Info:

·         Voting for court will take place on Thursday, May 1 in Government classes.

·         Prom tickets will be on sale Monday, May 5 - Thursday, May 8 at Lunch. The cost is $20 per person.

·         Tickets will be sold Friday, May 9 in the office, the cost will be $40 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door the evening of prom.

·         All class dues must be paid to date in order to buy a prom ticket.

·         Promenade will begin at 4:30 on May 10 at WHS. Doors will open at 3:30. Coronation will take place at promenade.

Prom week is almost here!! We want you to have a safe and fun time. As you prepare for your big night out we want you to remember that distracted and impaired driving don't mix with the fun. If you have a story to tell about distracted or impaired driving we want to hear it. SAVE Club wants to record your story on iMovie. It will be aired next Thursday on the T.V.s, so if you want to make a video come to the library tomorrow or Friday and see Mrs. Bryant.

 

S.A.V.E. Club is playing games with you...We are having our 2nd installment of snacks, drinks, and board games for all who come to the library after school on May 9.
