General Announcements:


 

Congratulations to the Boys Track and Field Team on their fourth place finish at the Pana Open on Saturday. Leading the way for the Bullets with first place finishes were: Morgan Flynn (400 and 200) and Nick Cox (shot put).

 

Dance Lessons:  Tuesday and Thursday, April 22 & 24 – 6:00-7:00 pm in WJHS Fine Arts Gym

 

Strike Out Cancer Shirts– Only $10 - Turn in orders and payment to Mrs. Allen by Tuesday, 4/29.

 

Blood Drive – April 28 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Sherman Church of the Nazarene.  Incentive for WHS students:  Extra credit points for donating!  WHS is currently in 2nd place for the High School Challenge which ends April 30th.  The winning school earns a $1000 scholarship!  See Mr. Hampton if you have questions.

 

Congratulations to Isabel Butterfield and Jonathan Miller for being named as finalists for the State Journal-Register 2014 Top Teen Award. Isabel and Jonathan were nominated for their outstanding efforts to make a difference in their community.

 

Annual Scholastic Bowl Faculty Grudge Match is Thursday, May 1, 6 p.m. in the library. J/V and Varsity, please let Mrs. Letterly know if you will be there by dropping by the library -- there will be a sheet there to sign your name, and let your parents know they are welcome to participate.

 

Congratulations to our track teams on their performances last night in a home quadrangular meet. We were unable to finish the meet due to the weather. Team scores through 17 events for the girls were: Auburn 104, Wmsv 83, New Berlin 44, North Mac 24. Team scores for the boys through 16 events were: Wmsv 80.5, Auburn 76, New Berlin 68, North Mac 19.5.
