ACT Prep Workshops at Lincoln Land Community College: The Spring semester schedule is available and registration is open with classes beginning in March and May. Kathryn G. Hansen Scholarship 2014-15 applications are available in the guidance office or by visiting the guidance office scholarship webpage. This scholarship is open to seniors planning to pursue a higher education in an office professional, secretarial, or business-related field within the State of Illinois with preference given to attendance at the University of Illinois. Volunteer Opportunity - Sherman United Methodist Church — Kids 5k or 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk - For anyone needing community service hours, the Sherman United Methodist Church is sponsoring a Kids 5k or 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Sherman Elementary School track. The SUMC is looking for volunteers to service the water tables, hand out medals, take times, paint faces, lead games, etc. Volunteers will be needed from approximately 3:30-5:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Martens if you are interested or have any other questions.
