Tuesday, December 10:

 

Lunch: Mini corn dogs or Crispy fish sticks, honey cornbread, sweet baked beans, mango chunks , choice of Milk

 

S.A.V.E. will be selling candy cane messages this week during both lunch shifts Tuesday through Friday. Pick a flavor and write a message and SAVE's elves will deliver the sweet treats next week. Each candy cane is $1.00 so they will go fast. Don't delay!!

 

Jazz Dinner Planning Meeting: On Tuesday, Dec. 10th at 6:00 p.m., there will be a meeting for those interested in helping to plan the annual Jazz Dinner which will be held in April. This is a huge event, but well worth the effort. Everyone welcome - just bring your enthusiasm for our band program, and if you have any new ideas, bring those too!

 

Band Booster Meeting: The next meeting for Band Boosters will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Band Room.

The Sports Booster Clothing Sale will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14th – 9a – 12p at the Sherman Athletic Club. Get your bullet wear Christmas presents!!! The After-Prom Committee will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts as well. Glazed - $8 a dozen; Chocolate Glazed - $10 a dozen.

General Announcements:


 

The Penny Drive will take place in 6th hour classes this week!!-- December 9-13. All proceeds will go to benefit Contact Ministries and local families. Our goal this year is $6,000. Winning class with the highest average per student will receive a pizza party.

 

·         Sign up at lunch to participate in the Annual Penny Drive Assembly. A $1 donation will put your name in the drawing to participate in the Minute to Win It Christmas games. There will also be sign-ups for the bat spin and sheet relays.

 

·         Bring in a teen gift and put your name in the drawing for a $20 gift card to Wal Mart! Bring unwrapped, new gifts to the library December 9-13. The drawing will be held at the assembly.

 

·         Food pick-up will be December 14 from 10-12. Those helping will have the opportunity to win one of four $20 Best Buy gift certificates.

There will be a short informational meeting for boys interested in participating in track and field on Monday, Dec. 16th in Mr. Rigneys' room immediately after school. Important information about the upcoming season will be discussed.

 

Juniors who took the PSAT can pick up their score reports on December 17th from 8:18-9:03am in the guidance office. Mrs. Chladny will distribute scores and answer questions if needed in the guidance center (located in the library). If a student cannot pick them up during this time, they will need to see Mrs. Chladny to arrange an alternate time to get them during the day on the 17th.
