IMEA All-District Jazz Festival at Springfield High

 

Good luck to Morgan Fleck and Gabby Gwaltney at the IHSA Girls Sectional Swim Meet. The meet runs from 1-5pm at Eisenhower Pool at Southeast HS in Springfield. Come cheer them on!

 

5:00 pm - Varsity Football vs. St. Joseph-Ogden– Quarterfinals - Football Playoffs – Bus time 1:15 pm.  Go Bullets!!

 

General Announcements:


 

Support the Junior class after prom fundraiser as they sell holiday poinsettias. 6 ½” red poinsettias in a foil wrapped pot are only $10 and will be available for pick-up on Dec. 7 at Illini Bank from 9-12.  Orders are due no later than November 30.  Please contact – Cate Buescher, Noah Horton or Kelsey Jones or call Pam Kovacevich at 725-9170 or email Pam at kovacevich34@att.net.  Thank you for your support!

 

Rachel Haworth and Jonathan Miller have been chosen as our 2013-2014 DAR/SAR Good Citizens winners.  Students chosen for DAR/SAR must have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Both will be honored at lunches in the spring and have the opportunity to win a scholarship.

 

Wrestlers:  There is a wrestling parent -athlete meeting on Monday, November 18 at the Riverton High School Cafeteria at 6 p.m.

 

Wrestling practice will officially start on Monday November 18th.  All non-varsity football players who are wrestlers should meet in the cafeteria after school and a van will take them to Riverton for practice and pick them up and bring them back to the high school.  Practice will be from 3:45-5:45pm.  Arrival in Williamsville will be approximately 6:15 pm.

 

Truman State University-Missouri's Highly Selective Public Liberal Arts and Sciences University has a foundation scholarship set up only for Williamsville High School graduates who enroll at Truman. More information is available by contacting Truman State University admissions office.

 

Student Council is having a t-shirt drive competition among 1st hour classes next week! The winning class will receive a breakfast party complete with breakfast pizza, doughnuts, and juice/milk!!
