General Announcements:


Turning In Lunch Money – The collection box is in the gym before 1st hour begins and then in the office once classes start.  Lunch money is due before 4th hour begins.


Juniors: Sign up for the PSAT in the Guidance Office. The PSAT will be October 16 from 8am to 11:30am at WHS. The cost is $15. The PSAT gives you feedback about critical academic skills, prepares you for the SAT, helps you get ready for college level coursework, and can enter you in scholarship competition. Please see Mrs. Chladny for more information.  


Better Test Scores ACT Prep Classes begin a 14 week series on Friday, September 6th at UIS from 4:15-5:45. All other dates will be Monday evenings. Please see the Guidance Department for more details or visit www.bettertestscores.net.


Lincoln Land ACT Prep Workshops: Two sessions available-Tuesday evenings beginning 9/24 or Saturday mornings beginning 9/21. Additional sessions begin in November. Please see the guidance webpage for more information. To register, contact Registration Services at 786-2292.


The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) invites your sophomores, juniors, and seniors to the National College Fair coming to St. Louis on Sunday, October 2, 2013. The event is free and open to the public. The quality of this program is unmatched by any other college fair in the nation. Interested students should register online at www.gotomyncf.com.


For anyone needing community service hours, the organizers of the Williamsville Fall Festival are looking for volunteers for various areas on Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7, 2013.  If anyone is interested, please see Mr. Martens.


Congrats to the boys golf team for placing 5th at the Greenview invite!  Marty Pesch placed 9th with a score of an 80. Eric gray and Eli Reevis both shot a 91 with Austin Tuttle carding a 95.

Mandatory Madrigal Parent Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2013 in the high school library.  Please make sure one or both of your parents attend.


Vocal Music Booster Parent Meeting will follow the Madrigal parent meeting at 7pm on Monday, September 9, 2013.  Topics to be discussed include volunteer opportunities.  Please come get involved!
