4:30 Softball Sectional – WHS vs. Plains at Litchfield – Bus leaves 2:20, dismiss 2:10 – change of date due to weather/field conditions

 

Cross Country- All students interested in running cross country next year there is a meeting this Thursday after school in the Art room.

Better Test Scores Summer ACT Prep Course: Reserve your seat at the upcoming summer ACT prep course. Courses begin June 17th. Stop by guidance for more details.

 

Two of our seniors won in the Springfield Old Capitol Art Fair, senior portfolio competition. This competition offers six, $600 scholarship awards to seniors in Sangamon county. Congratulations to Parker Bigham and Sephra Urbas!

 

The Williamsville Greenhouse will be selling flowers and assorted plants this week. Please contact Mr. Houser or students from the Plant Science class.

 

Sherman Elementary School is looking for volunteers to assist the kindergarten teachers in preparing some thematic units over the summer. They are compiling a list of students willing to help who they can call on an “as needed” basis over the summer. The responsibilities of the volunteers would be db20130522ly copying, cutting, and organizing materials for the thematic units. If you would like to sign up or if you have any questions, please see Mr. Martens.

 

Fees and Fines: Have you lost a library book or a text book? Do you owe library fines? Have you damaged a text book? Do you owe registration or shop fees? Make sure you check with your teachers and the librarian and take care of these things right away! We won’t be able to issue report cards, diplomas, or send transcripts if you owe money. Seniors (only) must also make sure your lunch card is not negative with either Mrs. Allen or Mrs. Ramirez during lunch!

 

Report Card Day: June 4 – If you don’t owe any fees or fines, you can drop off an envelope with Mrs. Ramirez in the Guidance Office and she will mail your report card home to you. Make sure you turn in a pre-addressed, stamped business-sized envelope.

 

Seussical Dvds are now available. The cost is $10. Please see Mr. Williams to get a copy.

 

Girls Golf - Any girl who might be interested in playing high school golf next year needs to stop by the office to sign up. Information regarding summer work and tryouts will be sent out over the summer to those who have signed up in the office. If you have any questions you can contact Coach Szoke (szoke@wcusd15.org).
