Monday, May 13:


Lunch:  Popcorn chicken or Spicy popcorn chicken, wheat dinner roll, mashed potato with country gravy, seasoned green beans, rosy applesauce, ½ pint of milk


Student Council Applications are due to Mrs. Walsh by end of day Monday, May 13.


5:30pm - Track & Field @ Chatham-Glenwood High School - Capitol Area Honor Roll Meet @ Glenwood – Bus leaves 4:20pm


Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters will meet tonight at 6:30 pm. in the high school teachers’ lounge. All parents of junior high and high school choral parents are welcome to attend.


Seniors who are going on the senior class trip, please meet in the cafeteria during the last 5 minutes of lunch today.


Tuesday, May 14:


Lunch:  Cheese garlic French bread or Pizza dippers, marinara sauce, buttered peas, pineapple chunks, cinnamon grahams (sandwiches only), ½ pint of milk



S.A.V.E. Club members meet with Mrs. Letterly Tuesday morning at 7:45.


WHS Fine Arts Festival – Art Show




4:30 pm - Softball Regional – WHS vs. winner game 1 (H)


7:00pm - Girls Soccer Sectional – WHS plays Rochester at Rochester – Bus leaves 4:45pm.


Wednesday, May 15:


Lunch:  Soft taco or Fish taco with Baja sauce, diced tomato, shredded lettuce, tortilla chips, spicy sweet salsa, diced peaches, ½ pint of milk


There will be an FCCLA meeting Wednesday after school.


Thursday, May 16:


Lunch:  Sliced beef & Cheddar sandwich or Maid Rite sandwich, soft pretzel, baked potato OR sweet potato, seasoned broccoli, diced pears, ½ pint of milk


4:30 pm – Baseball Regional – WHS plays at 4:30 pm (H)


7:45 am - S.A.V.E. meeting Thursday in Mrs. Lorton's room. We will elect officers.

General Announcements:


Seniors:  Please turn in your graduation contracts ASAP to Mr. Galusha in the office.  Seniors are also encouraged to attend Baccalaureate on May 19th at 2:00 pm at the Williamsville Christian Church, please sign up in the office. 


The senior class trip will take place on Monday, May 20. We will depart WHS around 5 am and travel to Cincinnati’s Kings Island.


Senior Graduation Orders:  If you have not yet picked up your cap & gown order, you may do so in the office.  If there is a balance due, there are a couple of options.  Orders may be paid for in cash or money order.  If you prefer to pay by credit or debit, please call 217-483-8989 and Jostens will process your payment over the phone.  Checks will not be accepted.  Extra announcements are also available for purchase.  $1.20 per announcement or 5 for $6.


Girls Soccer: Congrats on winning the regional championship Friday 2-0 over Pleasant Plains. They play Tuesday at Rochester at 7pm against Rochester. Practice Monday after school until 5:30.


Congratulations to the Lady Bullets Track Team on their 4th place finish at the Sectional Track Meet on Friday night at Lewistown.

The following girls are headed to the IHSA State Track Meet this weekend:

·         Rachel Rhodes won the 400 and High Jump

·         Tia McCarty placed 2nd in the 100

·         Amber Robbs placed 2nd in pole vault

·         4x200 m relay (Galusha, McCain , Stump and McCarty) placed 1st

·         4x400 m relay (McCarty, McCain, Stump and Rhodes) placed 1st

Others that placed in the top 6 are:

·         Jordan French placed 4th in discus

·         Meagan Hanney placed 5th in the 800

·         4x800 (Meagan Hanney, Kayla Nevill, Abby Bergfeld and Abbey Galusha) placed 4th

Congratulations on a great job to all participants.  The bus time for the Honor Roll Meet Tonight in Chatham is 4:20.


The Junior Class is selling the leftover glasses from prom. They are $2 each. You can buy them from Mrs. Walsh.


Senior Video on Sale: $5 each and can be purchased from Mrs. Walsh.


The 2014 Miss Illinois Teen USA pageant will be held in November 2013. Please get an application in the Guidance Office if interested.


Better Test Scores Summer ACT Prep Course: Reserve your seat at the upcoming summer ACT prep course. Courses begin June 17th. Stop by guidance for more details.


Seniors: Are you looking to go to college but have not made a decision yet? Robert Morris University is looking to recruit 6 Student Assistant positions to their Women's basketball team. Student Assistants will receive an athletic scholarship. Please contact the guidance office if you are interested or contact Paul Gilbert at RMU.
