Any boy interested in trying out for golf team next Fall 2013, there will be an information meeting at 8:00am in the Cafeteria. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must call Coach Trine at 415-5907.

Wednesday, May 1:

 

Lunch:  Roasted chicken or Teriyaki chicken, sweet cornbread, creamy coleslaw, sweet baked beans, applesauce, ½ pint of milk

 

Attention Faculty & Students: May 1 is National College Decision Day-please help create a college atmosphere by wearing college apparel on Wednesday. It can be your favorite college sports team, where you want to go to college, where you went to college, just make it college related. Everyone that participates will have their name entered into a drawing for a prize. Stop by the table outside the lunch room to enter your name.

Seniors: if you would like help filling out your FAFSA, we will have someone from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission coming at 1pm. You will need to sign up in the Guidance office by Tuesday, so that we know how many computers we will need. You will also need to bring a copy of your parent's tax return and your social security number, the day of the class.

 

Friday, May 3:

10:00am - HS Boys Varsity Baseball vs Southeast High School (DH) – Senior Day!

Seniors will be recognized before the game

 

Williamsville Fire Department – All You Can Eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast:  7:00 AM – Noon - $6 for pancakes, sausage, and a drink.  Take out or delivery – call 217-566-3311 for delivery, Special prices for kids!

 

3:00pm – Doors open for Promenade

 

4:30 pm – Promenade Begins

 

8:00-11:00 pm - WHS prom

 

General Announcements:


 

Senior Graduation Orders:  If you have not yet picked up your cap & gown order, you may do so in the office.  If there is a balance due, there are a couple of options.  Orders may be paid for in cash or money order.  If you prefer to pay by credit or debit, please call 217-483-8989 and Jostens will process your payment over the phone.  Checks will not be accepted.  Extra announcements are also available for purchase.  $1.20 per announcement or 5 for $6.

 

Sports Booster News: The next Sports Booster meeting will be held on Sunday May 5th at 5:30 pm at the Sherman Village Hall. Too many "sports" conflicts during the week has made it necessary for us to have the meeting on a Sunday! We will be voting for officers so it will be important to attend if you are able to vote. We would love to have everyone come sign up for committees and get involved. Come see what the Boosters are planning and how you can be a part of it!

 

Attention Jr/Sr Guys:  If you were planning on attending prom but are coming up short on funds for a tux, please see Mrs. Chladny. Assistance is available, but limited.

 

Sports Booster News: The next Sports Booster meeting will be held on Sunday May 5th at 5:30 pm at the Sherman Village Hall.

 

Congrats to the boys track and field team! On Friday, the boys’ freshman-sophomore team took second at the F-S Sangamon County Meet. On Saturday, the boys varsity team placed fourth at the rain soaked 17 teams Carlinville Invitational.

 

Prom Information:

·         There will not be a photographer at promenade this year to take pictures.  

·         Prom tickets will be on sale this week Monday -Thursday. The cost is $20 per person. Class dues must be paid up to date in order for anyone to get their ticket.

·         No prom tickets will be sold at the door.
