Thursday, April 25:

 

Lunch:  Sliced beef & Cheddar sandwich or Maid Rite sandwich, soft pretzel, baked potato OR sweet potato, seasoned broccoli, diced pears, ½ pint of milk

 

Cheerleading Tryouts- Try outs will take place at the high school beginning at 6:30 pm.

 

Tie Dye apparel will be sold for at half price this Thursday at lunch.

 

4:30pm - Varsity Softball vs Normal University High School

 

4:30pm Freshman Baseball @ Springfield High School – Bus leaves 3:00, Dismiss 2:50

7:00pm - Girls Varsity Soccer vs (Plains Tournament vs. Lutheran) – Bus leaves 5:15

 

Friday, April 26:

 

Lunch:  Cheese garlic French bread or Pizza dippers, marinara sauce, buttered peas, pineapple chunks, wheat breadstick (sandwiches only), ½ pint of milk

Any boys interested in playing basketball next year need to attend a mandatory basketball meeting in Coach Beard’s room during the last 10 minutes of each lunch on Friday April 26th.

Williamsville Jazz Dinner on the evening of Saturday April 27 featuring great swing music, a full dinner from Hickory River, a loaded silent auction, and a dance floor.

 

Williamsville Sports Boosters Clothing Sale   8am to noon. The location is 217 Pimlico Chase in Sherman (Steeplechase Subdivision).  Come support the Sports Boosters and get some great bargains!

General Announcements:


 

Senior Graduation Orders:  If you have not yet picked up your cap & gown order, you may do so in the office.  If there is a balance due, there are a couple of options.  Orders may be paid for in cash or money order.  If you prefer to pay by credit or debit, please call 217-483-8989 and Jostens will process your payment over the phone.  Checks will not be accepted.  Extra announcements are also available for purchase.  $1.20 per announcement or 5 for $6.

 

Seniors:  All outstanding registration and fees are due no later than May 1st.

 

Any boy interested in trying out for golf team next Fall 2013, there will be an information meeting on Tuesday APRIL 30th at 8:00am in the Cafeteria. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must call Coach Trine at 415-5907.

 

Attention Jr/Sr Guys:  If you were planning on attending prom but are coming up short on funds for a tux, please see Mrs. Chladny. Assistance is available, but limited.

 

Sports Booster News: The next Sports Booster meeting will be held on Sunday May 5th at 5:30 pm at the Sherman Village Hall.

 

Scholastic Bowl:  the Faculty/Scholastic Bowl Grudge Match is Monday, April 29, at 6. Stop by the Library and let Mrs. Letterly know if you will be there.

 

Prom Information:

·         Voting for prom court will take place this Friday, April 26 in Government classes.

·         There will not be a photographer at promenade this year to take pictures.  

·         Prom tickets will be on sale next week Monday -Thursday. The cost is $20 per person. Class dues must be paid up to date in order for anyone to get their ticket.

·         No prom tickets will be sold at the door.

Juniors & Seniors: Bradley University is offering a Summer Enrichment program from June 16-22. Topics include Hospitality Leadership, Business, Game Design & Development, Pre-law, and Leadership Development. See the Guidance Office for more info!

 

Student Council applications for next year are in the office.

 

Congrats to the HS Girls track team on a job well done at the home meet yesterday. There were several first places finishes and the girls won the meet. Way to go! Practice today 3:30-4:30.
