Cheerleading Tryout Information - There will be a meeting in the high school Library for anyone interested in trying out Thursday April 11 at 6:30pm. A parent and anyone interested in trying out should attend. Try outs will take place at the high school April 22-25 beginning at 6:30.

2013 Psi U Scholarship Grant Program for male freshman entering the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. CRD Advisors, a contract corn research company is currently seeking applicants for summer positions. Summer Research Crew can last up to three months and includes activities like hand pollinating, detasseling, plot db20130410tenance, stand counting, and field notes. Be on the look for Courtney Trueblood's art work that is featured on billboards and posters in the Springfield and surrounding stores. Her work won 1st place in the Springfield Old Capitol Art Fair Poster Contest. She also received $200 and will have her work professionally framed.
Congratulations to Dan Heidorn, he won 3rd place at the Old Capitol Art Fair and $100 with his batik entry of "The Dr." The WHS Art Dept. will also receive $300.
