There will be a MANDATORY meeting for any boys interested in playing basketball on THURSDAY at 8 Am in Coach Beard’s room.

General Announcements:


Freshmen who have not paid their class dues should do so ASAP to Mrs. Flammini. Class dues are $25 if paid before Spring Break. If paid after Spring Break the dues go up to $30.


Buy a Chocolate Bunny for your Honey or some Peeps for your friends. S.A.V.E. will be selling chocolate bunnies or a package of peeps for $2.00. You can write a personalized message and we will deliver it before spring break.


Senior Graduation Orders:  If you have not yet picked up your cap & gown order, you may do so in the office.  If there is a balance due, there are a couple of options.  Orders may be paid for in cash or money order.  If you prefer to pay by credit or debit, please call 217-483-8989 and Jostens will process your payment over the phone.  Checks will not be accepted.  Extra announcements are also available for purchase.  $1.20 per announcement or 5 for $6.

William E McElroy Scholarship is open to senior males who plan to major in premedical, medical research, or related fields (such as nursing and dentistry). Preference is given to those who show high aptitude and interest in careers treating or researching heart disease and cancer. Visit the guidance webpage for an application.  Due April 1st

Congratulations to the girls track team that participated in the Indoor State Meet at Bloomington on Friday night!

·         The 4x400 (Galusha, McCain, Stump, Rhodes) placed 5th

·         Rachel Rhodes placed 6th in the 400m dash and High Jump

·         Amber Robbs placed 8th in pole vault

·         Tia McCarty placed 12th in the 55m dash


Cheerleading Tryout Information - There will be a meeting in the high school Library for anyone interested in trying out Thursday April 12 at 6:30pm.  A parent and anyone interested in trying out should attend. Try outs will take place at the high school April 22-25 beginning at 6:30.

Teens Experiencing Nursing at Memorial Medical Center is looking for qualified and motivated high school students with a strong interest in pursuing a nursing career.
