Reminder to all Juniors: Friday you will be completing the non-test items on the ACT. Please report directly the cafeteria, do not go to 1st hour. You need to bring soft lead #2 pencils with good erasers, no mechanical pencils or ink pens.


Junior LTech Students will attend WHS instead of going to LTECH during the normal school hours of WHS.

General Announcements:


Buy a Chocolate Bunny for your Honey or some Peeps for your friends. S.A.V.E. will be selling chocolate bunnies or a package of peeps for $2.00. You can write a personalized message and we will deliver it before spring break.


Applications for the Orlene Drobish Moore are available in the guidance office or on the guidance webpage. This a scholarship open to WHS graduating seniors only. Deadline to apply is April 22, 2013. Applications and supporting documents should be turned in to the guidance office.


Sports Boosters meeting on Wed, April 3rd at the Sherman Village Hall 5:30pm. Committees are being formed and many events are being planned. Please come join us!

Senior Graduation Orders: If you have not yet picked up your cap & gown order, you may do so in the office. If there is a balance due, there are a couple of options. Orders may be paid for in cash or money order. If you prefer to pay by credit or debit, please call 217-483-8989 and Jostens will process your payment over the phone. Checks will not be accepted. Extra announcements are also available for purchase. $1.20 per announcement or 5 for $6.


Memorial Medical Center Student Volunteer Program is looking for qualified juniors through college age students who are interested in the health care field. Students will be exposed to many volunteer opportunities through the program. Deadline to apply is April 26. Pick up an application packet in the guidance office.


Girls Soccer: The Lady Bullets lost a hard fought game at Rochester last night 3-2. Game Saturday at Home against Bloomington Central Catholic at 10am be there at 9am
