New Berlin Art Fair is March 16 & 17 at the Sangamon County Fairgrounds.  The exhibition is open to the public Saturday 12:00-4:00 pm and Sunday 9:00am - 2:30pm.

 

8:15am – Boys Track & Field @ Charleston Invite – EIU – Bus leaves 5:45

11:00am - Baseball @ Pawnee High School  - Bus leaves 9:15 – Time Change!!

11:00am - Softball @ Pawnee High School (+JV) – Bus leaves 9:15– Time Change!!

For anyone interested in becoming a crew member for the spring musical please see Mr. Williams

 

Freshmen who have not paid their class dues should do so ASAP to Mrs. Flammini. Class dues are $25 if paid before Spring Break. If paid after Spring Break the dues go up to $30.

 

Attention Juniors: Any juniors who attended ACT Review sessions and did not receive material for one or more of the sessions due to absences please see Mrs. Chladny.

 

Congratulations to the new members of the NHS Executive Committee: President - Ryan Scheffler; Vice President - Martin Pesch; Secretary - Jonathan Miller; and Members at Large - Jordan French and Anna Kluemke.

 

Nuclear Engineering Summer Camp at Missouri University of Science and Technology will be held for high school juniors, seniors, and college freshman (as of Fall 2013) June 16-June 21. Please stop by guidance if you would like a flyer.

 

Lincolnland Illini Club will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships to Sangamon County seniors entering the University of Illinois at Champaign. Scholarships will go directly toward tuition. Deadline to apply is May 17. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office.

 

After Prom Tickets will be on sale during lunch during the weeks of March 25th and April 8th.  The cost per ticket is $10.  Waivers must be completed before purchasing a ticket.  Blank waiver forms are available in the office.

 

Scholarship Opportunity for Seniors: The Association of Illinois Township Committee’s on Youth (AITCOY) is again offering a five hundred dollar scholarship – applications are due by April 19, 2013.
