The Girls Basketball Banquet for Thursday has been postponed and moved to Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 in the cafeteria.

Boys basketball players will turn in all equipment Thursday morning at 7:45 am in the back gym

 

Sangamon County Scholastic Bowl Tournament for varsity on Thursday at Riverton. Bus and starting times will be posted in the library.

 

Girls Soccer: No practice today. Practice Friday after school at the Junior High until 5.

 

For those who wish to order a Seussical t-shirt, make sure to get order forms into Mr. Williams As Soon As Possible

Juniors, this is your last week to pay your dues at the rate of $20 per year. After Friday, they will be $25 per year. See Mrs. Walsh if you have any questions

 

Youth and Government: Please turn in second payment by Friday, March 1. You have received a reminder with the amount owed. Also, bill groups should complete the final bill checklist and turn it in to Ms. Faloon-Sullivan so it can be copied for everyone in the bill group. Please check Edmodo for updates

 

Illinois College ICE Fair will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Illinois College. The fair is open to students and their parents from 6:30-8:00pm with a thirty minute financial aid presentation beginning at 7pm. Over 50 colleges and universities will be in attendance. For more information see the guidance department.

 

The Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists has established two scholarships to be awarded to two art students who will graduate in 2013 and attend college. Talent, desire, area of college study, and financial need will be considered. Please see Mrs. Strack for more details on the criteria to apply.

 

The Polly Roesch Vocal Music Scholarship has been extended to March 20 due to no applications being turned in. If you qualify you should apply as soon as possible! Stop by guidance if you need further information or an application. This scholarship is $1500 per year and is renewable for up to 4 years!
