Breakfast with Books on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and Fri., Dec. 7. Shop in a coffee shop atmosphere. Spend $7 or more at the Bookfair and get a $1 coupon for breakfast treats.

All guys interested in going out for baseball that are not playing basketball: open gyms will start on Wednesday at 6pm in the practice gym

The WHS Band will be selling mini Torpedo subs from La Gondola at the games against Pleasant Plains. No need to go without supper, or rush to pick up McDonald's before the game! Come support your athletes, your band and your hunger all in one shot!

 

Saturday, December 8:

 

WHS F/S Scholastic Bowl – Bus leaves 7:30 AM

 

Sports Boosters will be having their annual Christmas clothing sale Saturday Dec 8th from 9am.-1pm. at the Sherman Athletic club. This will be the last sale before the holidays. Prime Rib Dinner-Dance tickets are also available for Feb 23rd. Gift Certificates available.

 

WHS Vocal Music Program presents the 2012 Madrigal Tea and Dinner on Saturday, December 8th at 1 and 6 pm at the WJHS Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for the tea and $20 for the dinner. For tickets, contact Kathy Levin at benhanna@casscomm.com or phone/text 971-9463

FCA Shopping Trip for Inner City Mission has been moved to December 9th at 6:00 pm. Permission slips are due by December 7th to Mr. Ibbotson.

 

General Announcements:

 

The Scholastic Book Fair runs through Friday, Dec 7. Lots of events are planned, lots of great teen reads will be available. Stop by the library where we will be selling chances for two $50 Visa gift cards. No more than 300 will be sold. Chances are $1 each or free with the purchase of two books (min $15.00) during the book fair!

Think Secret Santa for your reading friends or silly stocking stuffers -- we'll wrap and Santa or one of his special elves will deliver by Fri., Dec. 14.
