7. Lots of events are planned, and lots of great teen reads will be available.

For anyone needing community service hours, the Sherman United Methodist Church is sponsoring “One Night in Bethlehem” on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. They are looking for volunteers to dress up as residents of Bethlehem to help participants through the town. They might also be assisting with crafts for kids or keeping the peace as Roman soldiers. Volunteers would be needed from 4:00-8:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Martens for further details.
For anyone needing community service hours, the Sports Boosters are looking for volunteers to sell 50/50 raffle tickets for the Friday night boys’ basketball games on December 7 and 14, 2012, and February 15, 2013. Volunteers will be needed from 6:00 p.m. until shortly after the varsity game begins. If anyone is interested, please see Mr. Martens.
FCA Shopping Trip for Inner City Mission has been moved to December 9th at 6:00 pm. Permission slips are due by December 7th to Mr. Ibbotson.
Sports Boosters will be having their annual Christmas clothing sale Saturday Dec 8th from 9am.-1pm. at the Sherman Athletic club. This will be the last sale before the holidays. Prime Rib Dinner dance tickets are also available for Feb 23rd. We also have Gift Certificates.
