opening at 1 p.m. on Sun., Dec 2, through Friday, Dec 7. Lots of events are
planned, and lots of great teen reads will be available.

For anyone needing community service hours, the Sherman United Methodist Church is sponsoring “One Night in Bethlehem” on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. They are looking for volunteers to dress up as residents of Bethlehem to help participants through the town. They might also be assisting with crafts for kids or keeping the peace as Roman soldiers. Volunteers would be needed from 4:00-8:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Martens for further details.
For anyone needing community service hours, the Sports Boosters are looking for volunteers to sell 50/50 raffle tickets for the Friday night boys’ basketball games on December 7 and 14, 2012, and February 15, 2013. UIS Area High School Art Exhibition: Congratulations to the following students: Dan Heidorn, Andrew Sapochak, Courtney Trueblood, Rebecca Williamson, Tea Landsverk, Elizabeth Downey, and Gabrielle Menard! Their art work was chosen for the UIS Area High School Art Exhibition, It will be held in the Access Gallery from Nov. 15 - 29, 2012. The Exhibition Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held November 29, 6:00pm (refreshments provided).
FCA Shopping Trip for Inner City Mission has been moved to December 9th at 6:00 pm. Permission slips are due by December 7th to Mr. Ibbotson.
Sports Boosters will be having their annual Christmas clothing sale Saturday Dec 8th from 9am.-1pm. at the Sherman Athletic club. This will be the last sale before the holidays. Prime Rib Dinner dance tickets are also available for Feb 23rd. We also have Gift Certificates.

In the first dual meet of the year the Riverton/Williamsville wrestling team defeated Heyworth 42-33 and lost to Warrensburg-Latham 49-18. Riley Perrine was 2-0 with two pins, Ed Ferguson won one match by pin, Andrew Hofferkamp won 14-9 and Tate Manka won by Forfeit. The next meet for the wrestlers will be this Saturday as they travel to Fairbury for the Prairie Central Super Duals.
