School Picture Retakes at 10:00 AM.  Retake order forms are in the office if you are interested.

Football playoff shirts are available in the office.  Order forms with payment are due by October 11 to Coach Kershaw.

Congratulations to Mackenzie McCall – September Student of the Month!

 

M2, The Place for Prom & Pageant in Urbana, Illinois is offering a chance to win a $500 scholarship to all senior girls and guys. All you have to do is go to M2 and register between December 26 and May 4 for a chance to win. There is no purchase necessary to win.

 

Experience Ranken's Hands-on Learning for yourself on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 11-3pm at Ranken Technical School in St. Louis. There will also be a $1000 scholarship drawing and $100 tuition credits.

 

Junior class parents  - for those who sold Lottery calendar tickets, a huge thank you! This is our biggest fundraiser and your help is much appreciated!  Just a reminder: the ticket money, stubs, and any unsold tickets need to be turned in by October 18. You may call Lisa Konzelmann at 638-5765 or Michelle Cripes 496-6146 to make arrangements, or contact any Junior class officer.

 

Congrats to Curtis Clark and Marty Pesch for shooting an 80 and 86 at Sectionals Monday at Petersburg. Curtis will advance to the State Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Prairie Vista GC in Bloomington.  Good luck Curtis!

 

Congratulations to Tyler Nichols who has established a new football school record this season. He made 34 consecutive PAT kicks without a miss. The old record was set by Matt Seman in 1988 with 18.

 

Juniors: The PSAT will be administered on October 17th in the high school cafeteria beginning at 8:20a.m. The PSAT is an optional test for juniors and measures critical reading, math problem-solving, and writing skills. Limited tests are available so register early. Sign up in the guidance office. The cost is $15.

 

All guys interested in going out for baseball need to fill out the information on the form outside of Coach Chladny's door by the end of this week.

 

If anyone is interested in assisting with the lights or sound for the fall play this month, please see Mr. Williams in room 212 at your earliest convenience.

 

FCCLA members: Fall Leadership Dues of $12.00 need to be turned in as soon as possible. The very last date they will be accepted is this Friday, October 12th. The conference is October 29th. Yankee candle sales are also due in this Friday. Finally, there will be a meeting next Tuesday, October 16th after school.

Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters will meet on Monday, October 15th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school teachers’ lounge. All parents of junior high and high school choral parents are welcome to attend.

Congrats to the boys cross country runners in their great performance at the Conference meet. Noah Horton recieved All-Conference honors finishing 5th overall in the meet!

 

Youth and Government students who did not attend last week's meeting, please see Ms. Faloon-Sullivan ASAP to vote and get Butter Braid forms. Bill groups, sign up for a time to meet with Ms. Faloon-Sullivan on the sheet outside Room 101.
