General Announcements:

 

Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery is looking for volunteers to help with child care and special events. Please see Mrs. Chladny if you would like help getting set up to volunteer

 

The class of 2014 will be selling lottery tickets to help support the 2013 After-Prom activities.  Tickets are eligible for all 61 days of November and December and there is a possibility of winning more than once. Junior class parents are encouraged to pick up tickets to sell.  You may contact Lisa Konzelmann at 638-5765 or a Junior class officer to pick  them up.  Thank you for your support.

 

Order forms for Chamber and Homecoming Shirts are in the office. The deadline for ordering is September 18. 

 

Anyone who still wants to sign up for Youth and Government, please see Ms. Faloon-Sullivan ASAP. Registration forms and first payment are due next Wednesday, Sept. 12. All forms are available on my school webpage. Also, each bill group needs to sign up to meet with Ms. Faloon-Sullivan next week to select a bill topic and fill out a bill title form. Sign-up for a time outside Room 101.

 

Congrats to the Varsity and JV volleyball teams for their victories over the Riverton Hawks last night in two sets.  Both teams are back in action on Tuesday against PORTA.

 

Congratulations to the Freshmen Football Team on their 28 to 8 victory over North Mac last night!  No practice today.  Practice tomorrow 9am to 11am.  Be at school by 8:45am.

 

Congratulations to the girls golf team on their well-played match last night at Country Hills.  The girls put up a good fight against two very strong Rochester and Springfield High teams and defeated Plains.  Great job girls!  The team will head to Terry Park in Palmyra this weekend for the Waverly Invite.

Varsity Scholastic Bowl sign-up starts Monday, Sept. 10. If you are interested in playing, stop by by the library and pick up an information packet. Tryouts will be the week of October 1. Questions? See Mrs. Letterly.

 

The Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters will meet on Monday, September 10th at 7pm after the high school Madrigal parent meeting.  The meeting will be held at the high school in the teachers’ workroom.  All parents of junior high and high school choral parents are welcome to attend.

 

There will be a short FCCLA meeting after school Monday.  Please see Ms. Simmons if you will not be able to make it.
