4:00pm - Boys Varsity Soccer hosts Four Corners Tournament

4:00pm - Boys Golf @ Illini Central High School – Van leaves 2:30, Dismiss 2:20 PM

5:30pm - Meet the Teacher Night

Mr. Williams needs two students to sell concessions during tonight’s volleyball game tonight at 5:30 to raise funds for the fall play. If you are interested, please see Mr. Williams in Room 212 today.

6:00pm - Volleyball vs Pleasant Plains High School (H)

7:00 pm – After Prom Parent Meeting in the Library


Freshmen Football practice will be over at 5:45.  The freshmen will not be attending the varsity team meal tonight.

No School – Monday, September 3 – Labor Day


Seniors interested in running for class officer, please sign up in the office.  The election will be Friday.


Student Drivers:  Remember to give school busses the right of way as they enter and leave school property.


Kids Place is currently seeking babysitting teens who would like to add their names to our sitter list.  A list of names and phone numbers will be compiled to a list for parents who use the list to find sitters for their children during the week and/or weekend.  If you would like to be included, please email Carmen Arnberger, Director of Sherman United Methodist Church Kids Place after-school program at carmen@sumckidsplace.com.  She will need your name, age or grade in school, and a contact number.  Names will be compiled for the next 2 weeks and a new list will be posted by Sept. 15th.

Volunteers are needed for the Williamsville Fall Festival during the hours of 8:30-4:30 on September 8th – Please call Melissa Hibbs-Edwards at 899-8500 or talk with Drew Rademacher.  Looking for help with face painting, games, and crafts.  Also, sign up with Mrs. Chladny or Mr. Martens for more volunteer opportunities at the Fall Festival.


More Volunteer Opportunties: Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery is looking for volunteers to help with child care and special events. Please see Mrs. Chladny if you would like help getting set up to volunteer

Boys Basketball Meeting – Wednesday, September 5th, during the last 10 min of each lunch shift in the locker room.


ACT Fee Waivers to assist students whom payment for the registration fee could be a barrier to taking the test are available to students that qualify. A limited number are available. Please see Mrs. Chladny if you are planning to sign up for an upcoming National ACT test date and think you might qualify for a waiver. 


Art Club will meet next Tuesday, September 4th, from 3:30 - 4:30 in the art room. If you can not attend be sure to see Mrs. Strack Tuesday before you leave school.
