Girls Track - Practice today 3:30-5 (Practice may finish early due to the JH Track Meet).  Please get out to the track as quickly as possible after school and begin warm ups.  Please remember to bring your spikes outside with you.

Tuesday, March 27:


Lunch:  Cheese or sausage pizza, buttered corn, sliced strawberries, chocolate brownie cookie, ˝ pt of milk

After Prom Tickets Sold at Lunch – Must have a completed waiver along with $10 per ticket.


All S.A.V.E. members meeting after school to put together peep orders in Mrs. Lorton's room.

Lunch:  Cheeseburger macaroni or Italian meatball sandwich, strawberry spinach salad, mandarin oranges, chocolate grahams, ˝ pint of milk

Seniors – Graduation orders are in the office for pick-up.  If you owe money, Jostens will only accept cash or money order when you drop off payment in the WHS office.  If you want to pay by debit or credit, please call the Jostens office at 217-483-8989.


Would you like to go to the front of the lunch line every day for the entire month of April?  You can earn a chance to win a Speeding Bullet Lunch Pass.  Just go to the Williamsville School District webpage called Value Your Veggies to fill out a 4-question quiz on Green Leafy Vegetables.  You will find directions in the library.  Ten lucky winners—with the correct answers—will be selected to receive the Speeding Bullet Lunch Pass.  But hurry, this opportunity ends Thursday, March 29!


Congratulations to Drew Kluemke who was named by the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches' Association to second team all-state. All-state honors are extended to only twenty nominees each year throughout Illinois -- ten are named to first team, and ten to second team. Congratulations to Drew Kluemke who was named by the Illinois High School Scholastic Bowl Coaches' Association to Second team All-State!


Congratulations to the following track athletes who placed at the Illinois Prep Top Times Indoor Classic Track and Field Meet last Friday:  Rachel Rhodes placed 2nd in the high jump (5'3"), Paul Priester took 4th in the pole vault (13'6"), and Gabe Manning placed 4th in the shot put (49'4").


Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team on their win Saturday over Bloomington Central Catholic!

Memorial Teen Volunteer Program applications are available to junior through college age students interested in health careers. Participation is limited to 20 students and selected through a competitive process. Deadline for applications is Friday, April 27, 2012. Please see the guidance office for an application packet.


The Bradley University Summer Enrichment program offers junior and senior students a chance to learn through a residential program in Leadership Enrichment or Pre-Law. Participants will experience dymanic fields and also experience college life. Space is set to no more than 2 students per school. Applications will be accepted until the program is full and no later than May 16. See guidance if interested.


High School Architecture Camp at SIU-C is currently accepting registration for the July camp. Please see guidance for a registration form and more details.


Williamsville Sports Boosters are having a Takeover Night fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings, Dirksen Parkway, on Wednesday, March 28th from 5-9pm. Bring the family out for dinner and help support a great cause - Kid’s Meals are $1.49.  Please see the attachment which has the tickets (3 tickets per page) that guests must present in order for their food purchase to count towards our group. One check per ticket is required. Coupons cannot be handed out on site so please remember to bring your tickets to the event. Also, takeout orders DO count towards our total donation.
