S.A.V.E. members please sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Lorton's door to take a shift for peep and bunny sales during lunches next week. No meeting this week.

The NHS Induction Ceremony will be Tuesday, March 13th at 6:00 p.m. All inductees and current members will need to be here and ready NO LATER than 5:30 p.m. to get ready for the ceremony. There will be a reception for the new inductees, their families, and current members immediately following the ceremony. Congratulations to the 41 new inductees scheduled to be honored!

Band Booster Meeting - There will be a band boosters meeting at 7PM in the WHS band room. Many important topics will be discussed and all band parents are invited.


Wednesday, March 14:


Lunch: BBQ chicken sandwich or deli turkey sandwich, tater tots, fresh fruit, cheddar Goldfish, pt of milk


Thursday, March 15:


Lunch: Cheddar roast beef sandwich or Baked potato bar, string cheese, soft pretzel/cheese sauce, steamed broccoli, pineapple chunks, pint of milk


Friday, March 16:


Lunch: Fish taco with Baja sauce or Taco quesadillas, rice pilaf with collard greens, diced peaches, fruit sherbet cup, pint of milk

Saturday, March 17:


The 45th New Berlin Art Fair will be held Saturday, March 17, 8:00am - 12:00pm; Sunday March 18, 1:00-5:00pm;Monday, March19, 9:00-2:30pm. The exhibition is open to the public at the Sangamon County Fairgrounds. This is one of the best art show of junior and high school art students from the region. Upward to thirty or more junior and senior high schools participate.

Kids Place in Sherman is looking for teens who babysit either on weekends or perhaps even for a job through the summer. Kids Place will post the list of babysitting resources for parents of the students at Kids Place. If anyone is interested please call or email Carmen Arnberger, Director of SUMC Kids Place at 496-2338 ext. 8 or email at carmen@sumckidsplace.com. She will need your name and contact info which will be posted on our parent bulletin board. There have been numerous requests for this list so chances for jobs are high.

After Prom will be selling tickets for $10 per person and a waiver must be filled out by a parent on March 28, 29, and 30. The $10 fee must be accompanied with the waiver. No exceptions. You can pick up the waiver before the signup days in the office starting March 19th.


The Williamsville FFA judging team won the contest and took home the first place banner! Team members: Lauren Burris (1st place individual), Caleb Wittler (3rd place individual), Catherine Wittler (8th place individual), Brianna Parada, Kayle Gibson, and Logan Brennan. Good job to all of you!


Congratulations to the HS Girls Track Team on a great showing at the EIU Indoor Invitational. The girls placed 6th out of 34 teams. Congratulations to Rachel Rhodes placing 3rd in the 200 Meter Dash and 2nd in High Jump. Congratulations to Amber Robbs on a 5 way tie for 5th place in Pole Vault. Congratulations to the 4X200 team who placed 5th and the 4X400 team who placed 4th. Practice today 3:30-5. Tomorrow is the field event fundraiser and Wednesday will be the running event fundraiser.


Boys Basketball Turn in your basketball uniforms and equipment ASAP!


Spring into action and send a sweet message to your friends. S.A.V.E. club is selling yellow peeps and chocolate bunnies next week during both lunch shifts. So bring your money and message and we will do all the rest. $2.00 buys one 10 pack of peeps or a chocolate bunny.
