Friday, March 9:


Lunch:  Crispy fish sandwich or BBQ rib sandwich, spicy sweet potato fries, sliced pears, cookie crisp, ½ pint of milk


Class of 2014 Please pay your class dues of $20 by Friday, March 9, to Mrs. Walsh or Mrs. Allen.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Walsh.


NHS New Inductees - $10 dues must be paid by Friday to Mr. Martens if you are planning to go through the Induction Ceremony

Drama Production “John Lennon and Me” – District Fine Arts Center – 7:00 PM – Only High School Activity Passes will be accepted, $5 adult, $3 student

Drama Production “John Lennon and Me” – District Fine Arts Center – 2:00 PM - Only High School Activity Passes will be accepted, $5 adult, $3 student


General Announcements:


Junior Class Officers – Mark your calendars - Jostens would like to meet with Junior class officers at 10:00 AM on March 16.  Please meet in the high school office.


Seniors – Jostens will be here on March 16 to deliver your graduation orders during lunch.


The 45th New Berlin Art Fair will be held Saturday, March 17, 8:00am - 12:00pm; Sunday March 18, 1:00-5:00pm;Monday, March19, 9:00-2:30pm. The exhibition is open to the public at the Sangamon County Fairgrounds. This is one of the best art show of junior and high school art students from the region. Upward to thirty or more junior and senior high schools participate.


Art Club will not meet until for the month of March.


The next Williamsville vocal music boosters meeting will be Monday, March 12 at 6:30 pm in the high school teachers' workroom. Hope you can join us!


Congratulations to the girls track team on an excellent job at the Illinois College indoor meet on Saturday.  The team placed 4th out of 24 teams!  The team had also had 2 first place finishers.  Congrats to Rachel Rhodes who won the high jump and congrats to Paige Peterman for winning the 400m dash!  Practice today 3:30-5:30


Congratulations to the Bullets who competed in the Maroa-Forsyth Powerlifting Meet Saturday on a 2nd place team finish!  Individual placers included:

Brandon Martin – 3rd place squat

Austin Kohler – 3rd place clean

Jak Loutzenhiser – 1st place bench press, 2nd place squat

AJ Hollis – 1st place bench press, 2nd place squat

Jacob Weiss – 1st place bench press, 1st place clean, 2nd place squat


Congratulations to the WHS Band & Choir students who competed at IHSA

Solo Ensemble Contest on Saturday, March 3.  We received 38 top "I"

ratings.  In addition, we had 3 ensembles selected for the

Best-of-the-Day award:  WHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble; Vocal Quartet of

Allie Wilson, Brooke Keenan, Abby Deutsch, & Annelise Mool; Saxophone

Quartet of Brandon Thompson, Marty Pesch, Dan Heidorn, & Evan Weyant.
