The yearbook class will be taking a photo of the entire junior class Friday morning at 8:15 in the gym.  Please sit on the bleachers

There will be an after prom meeting Sunday Feb 26th at the Sherman Village Hall at 6:00. Everyone is encouraged to attend.  Prom is only 3 months away and lots of volunteers will be needed to help make this a safe and fun experience. Seniors - Scholarships

  • The Tyrian Masonic Lodge Scholarship awards $1,000 to students in Sangamon County.  The primary selection criterion is financial need.  
  • The Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship is open to incoming male students at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.  
  • The WHS Sports Boosters Outstanding Sportsmanship Scholarship is now open to senior athletes, cheerleaders, and student managers.  
  • The Orlene Drobisch Moore Scholarship provided funding to students who exhibit good character, good citizenship, financial need, and high scholastic record.
