Tuesday, February 21:
Lunch: Popcorn chicken, wheat dinner
roll, mashed potato/country gravy OR Thin fries, seasoned green beans, rosy
applesauce, ½ pint of milk
JV and Varsity Scholastic Bowl tonight at Riverton. The bus
will leave at 4:30 p.m. and play begins at 5:00 p.m. The match on Thursday has
been cancelled. Practice this week is varsity only on Wednesday and Thursday
3:30-4:45.
HS Girls Track Official practice begins today 3:30-5:30 -
If you missed the parent meeting please get forms from the office and bring
them to practice on Tuesday. Physical,
Insurance Form, Fee - $80, Drug Testing Form, Concussion Policy Form.
Wednesday practice 3:30-5, Thursday practice 3:30-5:30, Friday practice 3:30-5
Boys track practice
officially begins today - To be able to practice, athletes
must have turned in signed forms for parent/athlete contract, IHSA form, and
concussion form. Also a current physical
must be on file in the office to practice.
Those who do not take care of this ASAP will not be participating in
track this year.

Y&G meeting:
Advocacy Day participants only meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Ms. Faloon-Sullivan's
room - your presence is necessary if you plan to attend Advocacy Day on Feb.

There will be an
after prom meeting Sunday Feb 26th at the Sherman Village Hall at 6:00. Everyone is
encouraged to attend. Prom is only 3
months away and lots of volunteers will be needed to help make this a safe and

General Announcements:
The State
Journal-Register will host an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.
28, at the SJ-R building in downtown Springfield for any high school student
wanting to learn more about joining The Voice, its award-winning journalism
program. Interested teens should RSVP their name, grade and school to
voice@sj-r.com by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. Applications will be available
at the meeting or students may find them online at www.sj-r.com/voice.
