Let's head to Beardstown and cheer on the Lady Bullets as they compete for the Class 2A Girls' Basketball Sectional Title on Thursday at 7:30. The fan bus will leave at 6:00. Students must sign up by 10:00 am Thursday morning. The cost is $9.00 per person which includes the price of admission and must be paid when you sign up. A minimum of 30 must sign up.
National Honor Society Members - Remember there is a mandatory meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 17th. All active members must attend. We will be planning for the induction ceremony.

Congratulations Jazz Band! - The Jazz Band put on an outstanding performance Saturday at the EIU Jazz Festival winning 1st place. Melaney Brown, Jacob Hardy, Kathryn Spenn, and Calvin Walter were recognized as outstanding soloists, while Marty Pesch was awarded as the most outstanding performer of the day. Congratulations to the band! WHS has much to be proud of!
The American Cancer Society is hosting its 10th annual summer research program, which seeks students who are interested in scientific research, specifically cancer research. This program designed for current juniors who demonstrate strong ability in math and science, have a GPA of 3.0, and an outstanding attendance record. Applications must be completed by March 14th. See Mrs. Damery to apply.
Accounting for Dummies $1,000 Scholarship - Applications are due May 31st
The annual "Got Milk?, Milk Mustache" includes a $7,500 scholarship, weekend at Walt Disney World and the opportunity to star in a special Got Milk Ad. Apply online until March 19, 2012.
