Monday, January 30:


Lunch:  Popcorn chicken , wheat dinner roll, mashed potato/country gravy OR thin fries, seasoned green beans, rosy applesauce, ½ pint of milk


5:00pm - Scholastic Bowl at Athens - Bus leaves 4:30 PM


Tuesday, January 31:


Lunch:  Soft taco or crispitos, buttered corn, fiesta salsa, mandarin oranges, cinnamon churro, ½ pint of milk


6:00 PM - Boys Basketball vs. New Berlin (H)


Informational meeting for boys interested in track and field in Mr. Ibbotson's room immediately after school.  The meeting will last about 10 to 15 minutes.  The first official day of boys track practice will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012.  We will have a few optional practices before Feb 21 that will announced at the meeting.


Wednesday, February 1:


Lunch:  Cheese quesadilla or chili cheese wrap, buttered peas, sliced pears, pumpkin cake, ½ pint of milk


Thursday, February 2:


Lunch:  Cheddar roast beef sandwich or baked potato bar, string cheese, soft pretzel, steamed broccoli, diced peaches, ½ pint of milk


Art Club will meet today after school

Friday, February 3:


Lunch:  BBQ chicken sandwich or hot ham & cheese sandwich, tater tots, pineapple chunks, cheddar goldfish,½ pint of milk

Seniors the "Focus On Your Future" scholarship deadline has been pushed back to February 10th  2012. Please ask Mrs. Damery for an application. *Many WHS grads have taken advantage of this scholarship in the past (includes two semesters of tuition at UIS or LLCC, 1/2 tuition+ at Robert Morris, or freshmen yr tuition+ at Benedictine). Don’t let this extended deadline pass by, fill out an application today!


The Springfield Noon Lions Club is offering a scholarship for students in the healthcare field. Priority applicants will be those focusing on sight and hearing fields.  Students who are interested can fill out an application at: www.Springfieldnoonlions.com  Due April 1st.
