Youth and Government: Many of you have not turned in required materials for Pre-Leg II. They must be in before the end of the school day so I can make copies. This includes Revised Bills, Bill Briefs, Lobbyist Position Papers, and Press Stories.

Sports Boosters is having a clothing sale on Saturday Dec 3rd from 9-12 at the Sherman Athletic Club. There are new items for the Holiday Season.  Dinner/Dance tickets will also be on sale with only 150 available this year.  Cost is $125 with the Grand Prize being $2500

 

11:30 AM - Girls Basketball at Riverton Shoot-Out vs. Midwest Central– Bus leaves at 10:45 AM

 

Youth and Government Pre Leg II - 8:15-2:00 p.m.


6:00pm - Boys Basketball @ White Hall-North Greene HS – Bus leaves 3:45 PM

 

Sunday, December 4:

 

Williamsville Band Program Winter Concert:  All are invited to attend the annual winter band concert at 2 PM this Sunday in the WHS db20111202 gym.  Performing will be both Junior High bands, the High School Band, and the High School Jazz Band.  Come hear a wide variety of music including some of your holiday favorites and support some very talented young musicians!

 

Madrigal Trip to see Vespers at Millikin University--Bus leaves WHS at 5:30pm and returns at 10pm.

 

After prom will be having a meeting Sunday Dec 4th at 6:30 at Sams Too.  All parents and students are welcome.

 

General Announcements:


 

Start collecting money.... the Penny Drive will be held next week in 6th hour.  Winning class will receive a pizza party.

 

Got a Minute to Win It?? Sign up in the library to participate in the Food Drive Assembly on December 9.  Each chance to play costs $1.

 

Any students who would like to help with the food drive, but are not a member of a group, please see Mrs. Walsh.  We need everyone's help to make the drive a success!!

 

All guys going out for baseball this year need to stop by Mr. Chladny's room and pick up an informational sheet on legal bats, open gyms, and other important info.

 

Art Club has been re scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday next week and will meet in the art room from 3:30 - 5:00.

 

For anyone needing community service hours, the United Cerebral Palsy organization is looking for volunteers to work their annual telethon at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield on Sunday, January 29, 2012.  Students can volunteer to stuff envelopes.  Volunteers will work in two-hour shifts from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 3:00-5:00 p.m.  If anyone is interested, please see Mr. Martens.
