Cast of "Back to the 80's" - Be sure to pick up a copy of the rehearsal schedule for this week.  The entire cast will have rehearsal on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m.  Please be prompt!

 

Youth and Government: meeting for all members from 6-7 p.m. We will be finalizing roles and choosing bill topics. Also, please see the Edmodo post about the mock committee demonstration this Saturday at 2:45 p.m. at the Williamsville Fall Festival. More people are needed!  Finally, please sign up to help at the information booth at the Fall Festival. Volunteers are needed at various times during the day-- you choose your shift!

All member meeting for SAVE - September 9th at 3:15 in Mrs. Lorton. You will vote for officers and form committees among other things.

Free Seminar, open to the public: "Keeping Up With Rising College Costs," will be held Tuesday, October 4th from 6:30-7:30pm or Saturday, October 8th from 9:00-10:00am at the Wells Fargo Advisors office in Springfield. A financial advisor will be presenting on college financial planning opportunities and understanding 529 plans.

Engineering Explorers Post: This program offers students help to continue their pursuit of engineering to the college level & as practicing engineers. Students will get hands-on experience in the engineering field and an opportunity to spend time with engineers and technicians. "First Nighter" is scheduled for Thursday, September 15th from 6:00-7:30 at the IDOT Central Office. At First Nighter students will have the chance to ask questions & sign up for the Engineering Explorers Post Program. Please come to the guidance department for more information. Flyers will be posted in your science classes.

 

Sophomores – Jostens will be here on September 12th to discuss class rings.  Orders will be taken on Friday, September 16 during lunch.

 

Boys Basketball Shoe and Gear fitting on Thursday, September 15. Order forms will be handed out during the fitting. See Coach Graven for any questions.

Congrats to the boys golf team on their win against Porta.  The Bullets shot 170 and Porta scored 172. Medalist was Curtis Clark who shot a 38.  The boys varsity will play today against Springfield Southeast.  JV boys will have an optional practice today.

 

The Lady Bullets JV and Varsity teams both won their matches against Greenview in 2 sets last night!  Come and support the Lady Bullets as they take on the Riverton Hawks Thursday, September 8th, in our Volley for a Cure match.  Come dressed in pink or our new brown shirts and help us spike out cancer!!

 

The Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters will meet Monday, September 12, 2011 at 7:00 pm (immediately following the Madrigal parent meeting) in the high school teacher's workroom. Please plan to support our vocal music departments by getting involved with the Vocal Music Boosters. Hope to see you Monday!

 

Williamsville Community Foundation is looking for Junior Students to help this weekend for the Fall Festival.  They always make a generous donation to after prom and would like some help.  Contact Lisa White 553-6102.
