Lunch:  Corn dog, homemade chili OR tomato soup, oyster crackers, baby carrots/celery sticks, sliced peaches, pudding cup, ½ pint of milk

Boys Track & Field State – Charleston – Good luck to Calvin, Gabe, and Keith!

 

Baseball:  All players, freshman, jv, and varsity, will need to turn in uniforms Thursday after school in Coach Buttry's room at the Jr. High.  There will also be a short meeting following.

 

Friday, May 27:

 

Lunch:  Crispitos or Taco quesadillas, rice pilaf, strawberry-pineapple parfait, fruit sherbet cup, ½ pint of milk

 

There will be a very brief football meeting after school on Friday for anyone interested in playing football next year.  If you cannot make it see Coach Kunz before you leave school on Friday.  The meeting should last about 15 minutes.

Wednesday Mornings – 7:30-8:10 AM

 

Sophomores – If you want to run for Junior class officer, sign up in the office by Wednesday at noon.  You must have a 2.75 GPA.  Elections will be Thursday in English classes.  Please remember that the officer’s parents will be involved in the planning and organization of After Prom.

 

Sangamon County Fair will be hosting a talent competition on Saturday, June 18 at 1:00 PM.  As well as ribbons & cash awards, the first place winners will advance to the Illinois Association of Agricultural State Fairs.  www.sangcofair.com

 

Girls soccer:  Please get bags and Bradley Camp forms turned in by Thursday.  If you want to help with soccer camp the week of June 20-23 please let coach Fandel know ASAP

 

Coach Jones is in need of volunteers for the Sherman Elementary School Olympic Day. Any seniors able to volunteer on Monday, June 6 should contact Coach Jones at the elementary school.

 

Attention students interested in LTEC next year: Please see Mrs. Chladny if you would be interested in enrolling in the new HVAC program at LTEC. This program will provide students with entry level skills in the climate control industry. Enrollment is limited to 10 students so please see Mrs. Chladny this week if you would like your name on the list for possible registration into the program. You must be a junior or senior next school year.

 

Summer Opportunity: Any boy or girl interested in detasseling corn in the month of July only, please sign up in the office. If there are any questions, see Mr. Trine in room 221.
