Friday, May 20:


Lunch:  Cheeseburger macaroni or Lasagna cheese roll, whole wheat breadstick, lettuce salad, fresh fruit, ½ pint of milk


Springfield Old Capitol Art Fair, Senior Portfolio Competition will be held Friday May 20, at the Springfield Art Association.  Students will need to be at the SAA by 3:15pm to display their portfolio and must pick it up that evening between 6:00-6:15pm. There will be 6, $600 scholarships awarded.  Award winners must transport their art work to the Old State Capitol that night and attend the awards ceremony Saturday May 21, at 9:30 am.

Congratulations to our boys and girls track athletes who competed in the area best Capital Area Classic Track and Field Meet last night in Chatham.  We had several athletes who earned medals.  Those coming home with medals were:  Paige Peterman - 3rd in the 400m dash; Corey Conklin - 2nd in the 800m run; Gabe Manning - 3rd in the shot put; and Keith Williams won the shot put and took second in the discus. 


Student Council applications for the 2011-2012 school year are available in the office and outside of Mrs. Walsh’s room.
